This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.
Arnica 12c a dose every day when he is conscious(!)-he may start 1-2 days before surgery. It is safe to be taken during convalescence too.

Have any attempts been made to cure without surgical intervention.

I had a brain surgery in 1994 for aneurysm. My doctor prescribed Arnica 10m 8 hrs apart and my recovery after surgery surprised the surgeon too. said in his 20 yrs of operating he never ame across such a case.
If you all think fit please take this potency only. Interestingly the specialist in Calcutta was also surprised.

He has brain tumor and - unlike in aneurysm-his defence mechanisms (vital force) have been compromised.
Giving too high potency may be overwhelming.

However, it is right that all steps should have been taken first before deciding to have such a dangerous surgery.

My son has been taking Lachesis for almost 2 months. All symptoms have been left sided, foot paralysis. We just found out last week from the MRI that he has a brain tumor. It's on the outside of the brain; they believe it is a meningioma. It's slow growing, but pressing on the motor cortex of the brain.
I will give him Arnica before and after surgery. Why 12C? Not 30c?

I chose 12c because he would be taking it every day for a longer time. and imo 30c might be too strong, at least the first week after surgery.

However-since you know homeopathy quite well, I think that before surgery he might even take 200c for 3 doses (in 2 days-but since he would have anesthesia he can't eat/drink at least for 12 hrs before-so not even arnica at that time!).like:morn-eve-morn

After surgery (if he can drink only): just drop 2-3 tablets of arnica in a drinking bottle with pure water - shake well- and he may take a sip=a dose.
shake (or better yet-pound the bottle against your other palm=succussing) before each sip (when he has a sip depends on how he feels of course.

That was homeopathy/surgery.

I have no idea if it could be done here but in many hospitals they do now STEREOTACTIC RADIOSURGERY (other name for it is GAMMA KNIFE) - one day procedure and not that invasive!
Maybe it could be done instead of "normal" surgery.

Also read on Internet about dr Johanna Budwig- seems like cancer/tumors may be healed simply by eating every day lowfat (organic) yogurt (or cottage cheese) mixed well with flaxseed oil (Barlean's is best- has to be cold-presssed)Proportions vary- even 1/4 cup to 4 tbsp!(the most oil!)Try this first!

Thank you for the information. Yes, our Dr. is going to see if the Gamma Knife procedure can be used. We are going to STanford, so they have all the latest technology. Also, I was thinking of trying Acetic acid 3xdaily to disssolve the tumor. Believe me, surgery is something we don't want to go through; but will, if need be.

Ah... If it only be that simple... But he rather needs a so called constitutional remedy which would cover all the symptoms he might have--and because time is of essence here the online isn't the best bet--besg]t is to get him to a gooh homeopath, preferrably one that is skilled in dr. A.U.Ramakrishna homeopathic cancer protocol.

Brain Cancer Therapy: Ruta 6 Induces Selective Apoptosis in Glioma Cells

December 4, 2003

"Although conventional chemotherapies are used to treat patients with malignancies, damage to normal cells is problematic. Blood-forming bone marrow cells are the most adversely affected," scientists in the United States explained. "It is therefore necessary to find alternative agents that can kill cancer cells but have minimal effects on normal cells."

Towards this end, S. Pathak and colleagues at the University of Texas "investigated the brain cancer cell-killing activity of a homeopathic medicine, Ruta, isolated from a plant, Ruta graveolens."

"We treated human brain cancer and HL-60 leukemia cells, normal B-lymphoid cells, and murine melanoma cells in vitro with different concentrations of Ruta in combination with Ca3(PO4)2," they wrote in the International Journal of Oncology. "Fifteen patients diagnosed with intracranial tumors were treated with Ruta 6 and Ca3(PO4)2. Of these 15 patients, six of the seven glioma patients showed complete regression of tumors."

"Normal human blood lymphocytes, B-lymphoid cells, and brain cancer cells treated with Ruta in vitro were examined for telomere dynamics, mitotic catastrophe, and apoptosis to understand the possible mechanism of cell-killing, using conventional and molecular cytogenetic techniques," according to the report. "Both in vivo and in vitro results showed induction of survival-signaling pathways in normal lymphocytes and induction of death-signaling pathways in brain cancer cells. Cancer cell death was initiated by telomere erosion and completed through mitotic catastrophe events."

"We propose that Ruta in combination with Ca3(PO4)2 could be used for effective treatment of brain cancers, particularly glioma," the researchers concluded.

Pathak and coauthors published their study in the International Journal of Oncology (Ruta 6 selectively induces cell death in brain cancer cells but proliferation in normal peripheral blood lymphocytes: A novel treatment for human brain cancer. Int J Oncol, 2003;23(4):975-982).

If he has gamma knife instead of invasive surgery he doesn't need arnica of course.
Just nutritious food, pure water and plenty of rest!
