Bronchitis 4 yrs

My 4yo. son has history of reaccuring coughs would last for up to 4 weeks.
This time around it started very heavy dry cough much stronger than before.
Was sujested Gelsenium 30, which did gave improovement with coughing on the 3rd day.
Now cough has some mucus, before was very dry and our pediatrician said he has bronchitis.
symptoms: wet cough with mucus, w/attacks
where he is almost chocking. Yellow/green nose discharge.
Climate: warm, humid (Miami)
Nature: shy, fearfull, attached to the mother, not very social.
Low muscle tone, skinny.
Gave him one dose of Natrum Sulph 6c

This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.
You may continue with Gelsemium 30 if that is helping. You may stop after 5 days (3+2) and see whether it creates more comfort.

Pulsatilla 30, Antimonium Tart 30 are other possibilities. Also calc carb 30. You should see how the remedies impact one by one.
