nat mur

Have taken nat mur 3 x 6c wet dose for sinus problem with bad headache which it has cleared up but I've got the worst bloated stomach ever - will this go down? If not what can I do - wasn't as bad as this before I took the nat mur and also I've had really bad diarohhea today with a lot of stomach and bowel gurgling - is that nat mur?

What can I do to reverse the bloating and gas it seems to have given me.

This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.
I warned you this could happen. This is the danger of self-prescribing.

If you are suffering simple side effects they will probably wear off on their own, maybe in a week or two.

If you have instead suppressed your sinus problem, then it is possible you have now created a new problem. Often with suppression, the old complaint will come back at some point and you will have both the old and new problem.

Don't start taking more remedies and making it all worse. You will need to wait now, and see if it clears up.

I thought better than using antibiotics which I've avoided for 4 years or so now. Normally nat mur works wonders for me for sinus.

So you say it could take 1 - 2 weeks of the side effects to go away.

Would strong coffee, menthol etc. help

Using homoeopathy inappropriately is not neccessarily safer than using antibiotics, it can be just as problematic. While there is no toxicity issue, it can stimulate pathology into life, create permanent side effects, even make your original disease much worse than it was before. It needs to be done carefully and according to our guidelines of practice to avoid such trouble.

There is no specific time such symptoms will clear up - it if is a straight forward proving of nat-mur probably only a few days. Specific patient sensitivities make it hard to predict though - you have used a lot of it, so you are probably more sensitive to nat-mur than other people.

Is this classic symptoms of a proving of the remedy?

And I know it's difficult to say but will it get better day by day or will each day be rough till it subsides

They are common symptoms which can appear in any remedy. We don't use common symptoms to create our remedy pictures so any remedy could create those symptoms.

As I said earlier, they might be proving symptoms or they might be symptoms that have appeared due to suppression of your sinus issues. Suppression is more about you than about the remedy. The new symptoms will appear where you have weak spots rather than being determined by the nature of the remedy.
