child with blocked ears
dear dr,my daughter is 4 and 1/2 years and she had allergy of nose with thick green mucus which was very sticky which lasted for one week and after that chest congestion started with rattling cough. i gave her nebulization with medicines for one week which did not work. when her blocked nose started i gave her aconite 30ch 3 times a day for 3 days. she was better with that but her cold continued. so i stopped it. after one week of cough i read your old post and i gave her hepar 30ch 3 pills 3 times a day for 2 days and it did wonders for her. her cough was gone fully and allergy was 85% better.
but now for the past 4 days she was trying to put fingers in her ears which are itchy. dr told that her ears were blocked with fluid. i gave pulsatilla 30ch 2 doses for 2 days but her itching of ears is continuing.
1.she is sensitive to cold
2.she has noisy breathing in the day and more at night.
3. she is thin(16kg),active and very emotional, cries for small things.
4. had kawasaki disease at the age of 1 and 1/2 years
5.very low immunity.
6. a year ago used Dr Rekweg's R43 for 2 months which suited her in India but not in Dubai.
7. mother has allergies and polyps problem
8. often she gets blisters in mouth.
9. food intolerance test was done and she is not tolerable to pulses like dal,wheat, cows milk which i am avoiding.
10. she is on nasal sprays for the past one year.
11. she is a fuzzy eater and has constipation problem

hello dr kadwa,
as you said i gave her 3doses of silicia 200c and after that i did not gave her anything. today when her ears were checked again dr said that her left ear was cleared but right ear is still blocked with fluid, and her nose allergy has started again and she is breathing with mouth during the day time also, i could notice this clearly when she is taking her food, every time she swallows food she is taking a heavy breath and night while sleeping she has mouth breathing with noise. and today she has little dry cough during the day time.

as per your advise i bought Calcarea Carb 200c, but i noticed that her dry cough has turned into wet cough. i can hear the phlegm sound in her throat when she coughs. coughing frequency is increasing in the evening after her afternoon sleep.(if i give nebulization frequency comes down) most of the time her nose is fully blocked, but only 2 to 3 times in the entire day little watery discharge is coming. she likes to go out a lot. she likes eating non-veg but likes very less spicy things. likes to eat chocolates(i don't give her) but does not eat any other sweets.she likes eating honey along with her breakfast. she rolls a lot on the bed during sleep and has disturbed sleep in the nights. she does not likes covering with blanket in the nigh, but likes covering her in the afternoon sleep. she starts drinking more water after dinner before she goes to bed and asks for few sips in the mid night also. her eyes are drowsy and face looks dull even though she is active. her blocked ear problem is still there.her skin is very dry.

Please go ahead with calc carb 200. She may need Lycopodium 200, Sulphur 200 and Antimonium Tart 200 later.

for the past 2 weeks my 5 year old daughter was on antibiotics for first mycoplasma ear infection and then for the chest infection. now her cough came down but again today dr said her right ear is fully red which was fine 5 days ago. her nose allergy is with running nose more in the evening and less in the day time. she is crying for small things (to ask for a biscuit first she cries and then tells that she want to eat a biscuit after her afternoon nap). i could not see her suffering so much with almost everyday taking medicines. we stay in dubai and the weather here is dry and dusty. kindly help me and advise me.

thank you very much for your reply. i will start her with chamomilla 30. can you please suggest me what i should do in the long course to stop her repeated cold, ear and chest infections and to improve her immunity.
