Hi David,

Okay my son really hasn't gotten sick much this past year until this month. Very similar to what he had last year, and you helped me.
http://abchomeopathy.com/forum2.php/249935/7

Same ear infection, right side. High fever. I ended up succumbing and giving him the antibiotics, and of course, couple of weeks later, he's sick again. This time its a lower grade fever, but with zero appetite, and I believe same ear infection, I haven't taken him to the doc as yet tho to get it verified. ALtho when i hold up the touch therm behind the ears, it's showing the ears are hotter than the rest of the body.

The only difference is that this time the ear infections are painLESS.

I finally resorted to the forum and realized we had ended it with a dose of sac alb 200c, and I really haven't seen him get sick much after that so I had forgotten about it.
Anyway, I just gave it to him around noon today. He became extremely clingy after that and then half hour later he said he was hungry and ate some boiled eggs, and then fell off asleep. It's been four hours later, and he's still sleeping, and I'm so worried. Not sure if what i did was correct or not. I haven't checked his temp while sleeping so i don't even know if it's just escalating. ANyway, if you are around, pls pls pls respond.

The only thing different before this recurring bout of infection was that he had two candy canes at school the previous day. And he really hasn't had any sugar much, i've really controlled it because he gets quite hyper.

I also forgot to mention, two days ago he started throwing up whenever he drank milk, soon after, in gushes, but the milk was curdled when he threw it up.

He woke up. He says he feels good, but isn't hungry at all. Had a few sips of soup. He's tired on the whole and lethargic. He isn't complaining of pain. His forehead still reads no fever, but touch therm behind the ears is still on the hotter side. around 99-100.

I forgot to mention he has a cough as well, where mucus is lodged in the throat... the mucus in the throat seems to be a chronic problem and occurs mostly when he's about to sleep, and upon waking up.

any thoughts?

The dose was just one drop in one cup of water with two hits.

Ok here's an update. Hope you get a chance today to reply. he managed to sleep much of the night too. His temperature now on the forehead, and behind the ears are about the same, normal.
His appetite is low, not completely gone, but not that great either. His lips are dry, and he's now complaining that they hurt.
The one thing different he did this morning was after breakfast he said he wanted to go have a bowel movement. He never asks to go have a bm. I have "scheduled" his bm, every day at a certain time after dinner and he ends up going, but he has to be encouraged and coaxed to go. If i don't, he will never go.
When he does go, even tho it's every day, its quite massive, but soft.

Anyway, even tho this morning, the bm wasn't massive, he had the sensation and asked to go.

As for his energy level, it's a 4... he's not totally wiped out.. but he's not remotely close to his usual.

He's been sneezing more, his cough is still there.

Around afternoon he passed flatulence and with it came a mucusy glob, yellowish. Again very similar to last year when the acute was just about over. It seems to end this way most times. Sometimes he will have loose motions at the end too. Should I wait this out some more, redose, or give u more info for a more accurate prescription? pls pls help

Ok if the Sacch 200 hasn't helped much you need to move up to Sacch 1M now. This is not an unusual step to have to take with children anyway.

So u still believe he is in a sacch state? I have to order the 1 m. He also had something weird yesterday. His anus was itching and he kept scratching. By night he was crying saying it was pokey . I have only given him one dose w two hits. Should I repeat w 4 hits? Before going to the 1 m?

Re: David... pls helpFrom brisbanehomoeopath [Log on to view profile] on 2012-01-01
The Sacch has been good for him for a long time. There is no reason to change the remedy as yet, since the state seems similar. He also got better within himself after 200c.

I actually would repeat 200c now as well, since during any acute people usually need multiple doses. He can have a dose every day for about 3 days (minus the one he has already had).

In very intense states I might have a patient take a dose every 15mins.

Hi David,

My son complained of pain behind the right ear before i ended up administering the second dose. The pain is not constantly there, nor it is affecting his mood, or appetite, nor does he have a fever. The pain only comes when he raises his eyebrows.

I've given one dose of sac alb, 4 hits. It hasn't made a difference yet to the pain. SHould i wait, or redose?

Re: David... pls helpFrom karinamom [Log on to view profile] on 2012-01-05
After the dose with the four hits he his appetite seems to be getting back to his normal. I also noticed yesterday he was playing very nicely with other children - not as bossy and dictatorial as he usually is. Although he did say that the pain behind the ear (only when he is lifting his eyebrows) is still there.

Good result. The remaining symptoms should vanish on their own.

Re: David... pls helpFrom karinamom [Log on to view profile] on 2012-01-07
The pain behind the ears has gone now. Thanks so much. He has also been sleeping very well in the night. Pls can u look into my daughters case? Her sleep has been terrible.

Re: David... pls helpFrom karinamom [Log on to view profile] on 2012-01-07
Should I get the sac alb 1m and keep it for future? Should I just wait at this point?

Re: David... pls helpFrom karinamom [Log on to view profile] on 2012-01-15
he complained of pain in the ankles before sleeping, and i noticed that pain preceded a fever usually and him falling sick so i gave him a dose, 5 hits. He has gotten a stomach ache, but its only if you press the navel region quite hard, then he winces and says no don't do that. touching lightly doesn't hurt, only pressing it hard, and only where the navel is. He's been extremely clingy, wants affection and wants it reinforced, and if the affection is not reciprocated in the way he wants, he blows into a temper.

Re: David... pls helpFrom brisbanehomoeopath [Log on to view profile] on 2012-01-15
Yes get 1M, that would be prudent.

Why are you hitting the bottle 5 times? That will make a stronger aggravation. 2 times is sufficient, moving up to 3 or 4 if he stops responding to the remedy.
