Am growing fat at an alarming fast pace

Hi,

Can anyone help me?
I have been diagnosed of hypothyroidism post delivery, before getting pregnant, I had been to a homeopath with a similar issue. My legs were constantly swollen and red, the homeopath had suggested getting thyroid tests done, and after going through those he said I have sub-clinical hypothyroidism. So he gave me thyroidinum and some other medicines too. Later I got pregnant and he suggested I stop the use of those medicines, all through my pregnancy my thyroid functioned normal. But after delivery, my TSH went to 119 units, and I grew very lean and thin. And then all of a sudden, when I started on allopathy medicines - thyronorm, hormones went normal but I have started growing fat.

I also need to mention that even before getting pregnant, I had grown very fat. During that time I used to stay with my in-laws who aren't very comfortable to stay with. I mean I may be displeased with something they do, but am not in a position to say that to anyone, because none would understand me. I had to keep all of that within me, I almost starved at home, but since I was working and was in night shifts, I used to manage eating out - but of course not to my fill. I was sleep deprived, as I had to work at home during the day. And my weight had started growing at an enormous rate, which was when I saw the homeopath who prescribed thyroidinum. Later my job took me to some other place, where I was not with my in-laws and my health improved a little, but then I got pregnant. And during the entire nine months, my weight constantly decreased instead of increasing (from 58 kgs to 51.5 kgs just before delivery). Post delivery I was 47 kgs, and then my weight further went down to 44 kgs when I was feeding my child. But after I started taking thyronorm, my weight increased and it is 57 kgs again, though I do not eat junk food, I do not eat ghee, butter, I am very active, I do not over-eat, rather my diet is barely enough to keep me from starving.

Lesser food has not shown any improvement in my weight at any point of time, as it is I have never had enough food after my marriage. But a regular intake of food however small the quantity is, has led to weight gain. The allopaths have not been able to give me a reason for weight gain, although they see that there is an increase in weight every time I visit them, they say it is ok. Thyronorm has brought my TSH levels in control, but I don't feel like it is of any good to me except maintaining the TSH, I am gaining weight for no reasons.

I have noticed that my thighs, and upper arms are where maximum weight has accumulated, and they have hardened like rock.

Please help, am in urgent need of advise.

This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.
I forgot to mention that my standard weight as per the weight charts given to me by the doctors is 44 - 47 kgs, I have a smaller built and frame, I normally look like a (fat) school girl.
