Phos 30 and Acid Flourica 6?

Hi,
I went to India a few months ago and saw a Homeopathic Doctor about my hair loss, fine hair and the lack of hair growth and she prescribed me Phos 30 and Acid Flourica 6, once I used them for like a month..my hair actually started to grow and got thicker and healthier.

However I ran out of the medicine and she gave me a site to buy them from but I can't find the EXACT medicines. The ones I've found are CALCAREA PHOSPHORICA and ACID FLOURICIUM. I just wanted the experts on here to tell me whether the above two remedies are the same ones as she prescribed me, as i don't want to buy wrong ones. If not then It'd be great if anyone knows where to buy the original remedies from or if there are any better remedies out there that I can possibly use.

I need it desperately as my hair loss is getting worse and none of the drugs available in the market are helpful.

Thanks
Malvika

This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.
Calc-phos is a different medicine to Phos, so no you cannot substitute one with the other.

The correct name for the second medicine is Fluoric acid and the two names you have given are for the same medicine.

I would also caution you, that if your problem came back after stopping the medicines, they were not curing the problem, but only palliating it, and it is likely that this will eventually stop working. You will need to continue treatment with a homoeopath to make sure you cure the underlying cause of the hair loss.

Hi,
Thank you for your reply. Is phos just short for phosphorus? So shall I just buy phosphorus?

It might be because I only used the medicine for a month and didn't use anything for about 4-5 months hence why it has come back, perhaps if I use the medicine regularly for a few months it will better my situation?

The problem is I cant contact the doctor as I don't have any details or contact number and its practically impossible to find a Homeopathic clinic where I live, hence why I resorted to online forum for some help and advice.

Phos is the short term for Phosphorous yes.

Joshim,

It is not quite safe to repeat Phos 30 and Acid Flour 6 beyond a month, esp if repeated on a daily basis.

Please write back exactly how often she asked you to repeat for the follow up.

Hi Reva,

She didnt give me a set time frame just told me to repeat the initial prescription and order those two online. I took the original prescription of phos and flouric acid everyday.

Can you please suggest me an alternative remedy? Along with hair loss, slow hair growth and very fine hair I also have brittle nails.

Joshim,
Phos and Acid Flour 6 has excellent track record of helping hair fall. Phos strengtherns and Acid Flour removes toxins from blood. Doing these two is the key to get better health over all and also to improve hair fall.

I would suggest you to take Phos 30 for one week, then give a gap of 1 week. Repeat the same way. However, you can take Acid Flour 6 every day. Both these continued not more than a month at any given time.

If this does not work this time, atleast it will give way for other medicines to work.

After a month, you can do wet dose of Arnica 30, morning and night. Google for Joepathy and you will find instructions for doing this.

Thank you, thats great help Reva V. Can I just clarify phos 30 is just short for phosphorus and how what is the dose that I need to take?

And Acid fluor 6 is just Flouric Acid and again in what dose shall I take it? (its the numbers next to the names that confuse me, I'm sorry if it sounds silly but I'm quite new to this).

Also, what potencies shall I buy for both of them?

Thanks a lot

You mentioned you have taken the medicine before per your other doctor's suggestion. Please repeat per her recommendation, except that do not continue beyond 1 month.

Yes, Phos and Phosphorus are same. 30c is the potency.

Acid Flour and Flour Acid are same. The potency is 6c.

If you live in US, you can go to Whole Foods or Sprouts and ask them to order for you. Your other option is to order the medicine in this website.

Two things, you need to ensure for any medicine to help you long term for hair fall:
- your digestion should be near perfect (no white coating in the tongue, no constipation or loose motion). Otherwise poorly digested food, turn into toxins and load kidney and irritate the skin and hairs

- if any vital drain, like surgery, excessive mensuration, masturbation or excessive sex, without sufficient compensation with healthy food leads to systemic weaknesss. You cannot expect permanent results without addressing them

Thanks Reva V, I will keep a note of all the points you mentioned.

She told me to have 4 tablets for one of them and 1 for the other didn't specify which one was which. She also gave me 2 doses of some powder. She made me have have the first dose when I went to see her and she gave me one to take away and have it after 15 days, I have no idea what that was and what it was used for etc.

I live in the UK and found a site where I can order in the UK from as abc homepathy doesnt trade in the UK anymore.
