left eyelid saggy, falling... ptosis?

Hello,

Wondering if anyone would be so kind to give me some advice about which remedy suits this case. For a few weeks I noticed my left eyelid is a lot lower than usual, clearly dropping. I googled and found out that ptosis can be caused by extended wearing of contact lenses. I've been wearing soft contacts for more than 10 years.
It seems to be only my left eye. I also have a bit of a tight feeling in/behind the eye sometimes and slight headache/pain around and behind the eye.
While exploring this forum and website, I came across other symptoms that apply to me as well: difficult to open eyes in the morning, as if they are glued together (no discharge though!) and a little burning (difficulty opening and slight burning goes for both eyes)sensitivity to light is also present.
I can say for sure I'm not diabetic and let's say for now I don't have a tumor either - however, I am wondering if computer work is making this condition worse and perhaps stress too? Just a though.
I am aware of the extensive information a homeopath needs to be able to give proper advice and am thankful for any help.
Kinds regards,
lp1234

Please answer the following questions in a descriptive manner after careful analysis and recollection of previous experiences and happenings.

1. Describe your main suffering?
Eyelid of left eye is hanging more than before. Noticed first about 3-4 weeks ago.
Eyes feel a little burning after having been shut for the night, it is also hard to open them in the morning.

2. What other physical sufferings do you have in your body?
Generally tired, exhaustion, need to sleep a lot to recuparate (9-10 hours a night).
Recently quit a very demanding and irregular job I've been doing for ten years, for the same reasons. Feeling exhausted.
Worked as a photographer for ten years, so looking through the camera a lot with the right eye, having the left eye closed. Wondering if that could have an impact?
What about doing a lot of computer work - I spent and still spend many hours a day looking at a screen, but isn't that the case of most people these days...?

3. What mental sufferings / feelings do you have associated with your physical sufferings?
Problems in the family cause stress, with my father not accepting my love for my fiance, haven't spoken to father in over a year. Wondering if stress could play a role?

4. What exactly do you feel when you are at your worst?
The left eyelid just hangs, it is slightly better after a night of rest, worse when tired or after a long day.
I take my contacts out at night, in the morning when waking up it is more difficult to open my eyes (both) than usual and there is a bit of a sticky, burning sensation, eyes feel dry. No pus or significant discharge.
Often tired feeling in and behind eyes, more distinct on left side, where the eye is hanging.
Sometimes more pain in and behind eye, mostly left too. Seems to be linked to tiredness. Other times it is just slightly present, a very light lingering pain feeling more like tension.
Occasionally I've felt sharp stings in the eyes, like needles - can't remember if that was just left or both sides did it.

5. When did it all start? Can you connect it to any past event or disease?
Started noticing the significant left eyelid drop about 3-4 weeks ago.
Possible started earlier, but wasn't as prominent right away.
Can't connect it, just trying to look at possible causes - computer screen, photography (closing left eye a lot), stress due to familial situation, of course the soft contact lenses which I've been wearing for over ten years... or even the recuperation from ten years of a demanding job rythm?

6. Which time of the day you are worst?
In the morning after sleeping both eyes are burning a little and feeling a little dry. The burning is not so bad I would see a doctor for it though, to give an idea of the intensity. It is just a little more than usual. The dropping eyelid is what set me off now.
In the morning after opening both eyes, it seems like they are somewhat glued, which I've been experiencing for quite a while now, at least a month or two. This goes away after a while and throughout the morning I would just be putting my contacts in with no problems.
Then as said a few weeks ago I started seeing the left eyelid drop and noticing it was worse when tired - in the evening, or even a few hours after waking up already (since I get tired fast).

7. What are the things which aggravate your suffering and which are those which ameliorate the same?
I've tried lying back with cotton pads soaked in chamomile tea on my eyes (cold) - that felt good. Eyes feel hot generally and it feels good to put something cold on them. My own hands or fingers, when they are cold feel great.
After reading about hard contact lenses causing ptosis, I've not been wearing my soft lenses now for two days, just in case. While wearing my glasses, I still feel a bit of pain in/behind the left eye. But it's been only two days without contacs yet, so it might need more time?

8. Do your think your sufferings have relation to any external stimuli (like, change of place) or any internal biological changes in the body, like, menses (in females)?
I don't think so.

9. When do you feel better, during hot weather or cold weather, humid or dry weather?
This is very hard to answer for me. I live in a rather chilly climate, but just spent three months in the tropics (got back six days ago). In a hot climate, the hottest hours of the day I find too hot to be comfortable, but the rest of the time I really enjoy the warmth. In a colder climate, as soon as I'm cold, I feel terrible and my hands and feet get ice cold, which is very uncomfortable. I seem to get cold faster than other people and not able to warm myself up. I feel good in dry and warm weather, less good in extreme heat and even worse in cold weather. Cold and moist is the worst. Hot and moist I deal with better.

10. Describe your general mental set up? Are you Moody, Arrogant, Mild, Agreeable Changeable, Nervous, Suspicious, Easily offended, Quiet, Arguing, Irritating, Lazy etc.
I would say agreeable, passionate, a bit lazy, extravert, changeable, impatient. I hope that's enough.

- How do you feel before or during a thunderstorm?
I love thunderstorms because it's such a thrill - I feel the buzz in the air just before one, and ever since being very little I've loved it, so I guess I feel good.

- Do you like being consoled during your tough times?
Yes, but I also tend to withdraw and spend time alone.

- Are you sensitive to external stimuli like smell, noise, light etc?
Very sensitive to loud sounds, since being very little and still hate loud and/or unexpected sounds, sensitive to light (sun often too bright), also sensitive to smells, I can often recognize which perfume a stranger is wearing.

- Do you have any typical habit or gesture like nail biting, causeless
weeping, talking to one self etc?
No.

- How do you feel about your friends, family, your children and especially your husband / wife?
No children, I feel thankful to have a few good friends, difficult relationship with father, good with mother, passionate about fiance.

11. What are your fears and do you dream of any situation repeatedly?
In dreams I often live adventures where I fight something or have to run from something or someone who wants to harm me or us, if I'm with others.

12. What do you crave for in food items and what are your aversions?
Sometimes I crave something sweet, sometimes something salty like chips or a piece of cheese.
I eat pretty healthy - sweet cravings will make me go for either a piece of chocolate of at least 70 percent cocoa (which is actually quite bitter, but I don't eat milk chocolate and don't care for it anymore) or an organic muffin with cream cheese frosting. I tend to stay away from the supermarket sweets, since they contain so much junk ingredients. I like a lot of food, the only thing I don't eat is very very spicy, because it burns my mouth.
Oh, there is one thing I really don't like: pickles and sour onions, the little sour pickled vegetables.

13. How is your thirst: Less, Normal or Excessive?
Normal I think.

14. How if your hunger: Less, Normal or Excessive?
Normal.

15. Is there any kind of food which your body can’t stand?
Very spicy is so burning that I can't even taste my food, but that's only playing in the mouth really.

16. Is your sweat normal or less or more? Where does it sweat more: Head, Trunk or Limbs?
I think trunk. Over the past year I've had a lot of sweating at night, waking up soaking wet. I sort of related that to stress of my former job. After I quit my job three months ago it occured a lot less, pretty much disappeared...

17. How is your bowel movement and stool type?
Traveling tends to cause constipation, as well as forgetting to drink enough. Apart from that, around 1 or two bowel movements a day, 'normal' stools.

18. How well do you sleep? Do you have a particular posture of sleeping?
Different postures, I used to sleep very good, only the situation with my father has been causing me to have some insomnia. When I'm tired enough I fall asleep though.
When in the same timezone long enough, I guess I sleep good. Right now I'm still dealing with that change.

19. Do you think you are able to satisfy your sexual desires in general?
Yes.

20. How do you think you are different from others, if at all?
I think I ask myself more questions about the meaning of life and I have the concern to do well whatever I do more than some other people. Also very perfectionistic and friends laugh at me for remembering exact dates when stuff happened, even years later. I'm more interested in spirituality than most people I know.

21. What medications have been taken earlier by you to treat the diseases and do you have any particular symptom surfacing after the medication?
None.

22. What major diseases are running in your family?
Grandfather diabetic, other grandfather had a stroke at age 90, grandmother Alzheimers.

23. Describe, how do you look like? Describe your overall appearance
1 meter 74 tall, about 60 kilos.
Very light skin, easily sunburned.
More limber than strong in general... Hair red to blonde, eyes blue. Oval face. Small hands and feet.

If you are not having normal menstrual cycles, please answer the following questions:

- Are the periods early, regular or late in general? How long do they last?
Periods are mostly early, about 26 days is a cycle. Lasting for 5-6 days.
- Do you suffer from any kind of physical or mental discomfort before, during or after the periods?
Easily upset a week before period, very sick overall the first 1-2 days of period.
- Is the flow scanty, normal or excessive?
A lot the first two days, then less.
- Is the blood thick bright red or pale watery?
