Trigeminal neuralgia - left side pain

Thanks a lot for the reply. I will start this treatment and will report after 15 days. I have a question - I have MagPhos6X, CalcPhos6X and Silicea6X in liquid form. I have raw pills also. Can I mix all these liquids to prepare one bottle of medicine.

I gave Calc Carb 200 for 2 days as suggested, but the pains increased too much. They were un-bearable. So I stopped Calc Carb 200 on the third day. Form 4th day, I started MagPhos, CalcPhos and Silicea. This has resulted in a better situation. The pains are reducing slowly. Thanks for your support. I will continue this dose for next 8-9 days...to complete 15 days and revert back. Thanks again.

I continued with MagPhos, CalcPhos and Silicea. This has shown better results. She is taking these medicines thrice daily.
If she forgets even one dose, then the pain starts. Looks like, she will have to continue with these medicines for a long time. What is your opinion on this?

After taking MagPhos 6X, CalcPhos 6X and Silicea 6X for past 1 and ½ months, suddenly the pains have increased. It may be due to cold weather i.e. changes in weather. The temperature in our city is 17-20 Deg.C in the morning. My mother travelled to Karnataka in 1st week of December. There she may have been exposed to wind draft, during travelling. The pains have increased after this tour and are unbearable. Now there is no relief after taking the three medicines, MagPhos 6X, CalcPhos 6X and Silicea 6X. Please suggest.

I have one more observation. My mother suffers with cold, which is not severe and can not be observed significantly. But when she has a running nose, then she feels better. During running nose, a clear water flows through her nose. She also feels better, when she puts Peppermint oil on her forehead. Generally she does not have a tendency for cough or cold. Does this have a relationship with the TN?

After the second dose of Dulcamara, she felt better for about 4 hours. During this time, the weather was not cold. But again she has gone back to her earlier symptoms. The weather has also changed and it is much cooler now. Shall I continue with the tissue salts and some more doses of Dulcamara?

We have completed total 8 doses of Dulcamara 200. Now she is feeling better. The pains have reduced for past 3 days. They have not gone completely, but the intensity is reduced. She still feels better, when she puts Peppermint oil on her forehead. Therefore, she is continuing with Peppermint Oil. Now I am continuing with the earlier prescribed salts - Mag phos 6X, Calc Phos 6X and Silicea 6X. We have also gone ahead for a MRI scan of her brain. The tests are performed for MR of the brain using T1, T2 and FLAIR sequence. The report states “Vascular loop indicating the root entry zone of left trigeminal nerve. No significant brain parenchymal abnormality detected. No evidence intracranial hemorrage / SOL.” I understand that this report confirms about the TN only and there is no other issue. Please confirm my understanding and advice for further actions.

Patient is suffering from severe pains. In spite of Dulcamara 200, the pains are not stopping at all. I am also continuing with the other salts. MPhos 6X, Calc Phos 6X and Silicea 6X. The ambient temperature is very low here - below 10 Deg.c. She is having difficulty in speaking i.e. unable to open her jaw, when the pains are more. The pains lasts for more than 30 minutes and this symptom is repeated almost every hour. Please suggest. As suggested earlier, will Lachesis help?

Continued with Aranea Diadema 200 in the morning and evening for 3 days, but there was no improvement at all. As it was suggested for 3 days, I have stopped this dose. I am continuing with the other salts. MPhos 6X, Calc Phos 6X and Silicea 6X. The ambient temperature is little moderate now - below 15 Deg.c. She feels better when it is not cold. So she is better than last week. She told me, that when she was advised to take Dulcamara 200, she was better. You advised to repeat Dulcamara 200 for 3 days, when there are significant relapse in her symptoms. Can she continue with Dulcamara 200 few more days / weeks? Is Dulcamara 200 harmful, when taken for a long period?
Will Nux Vomica 30X help her to reduce the pains? Please suggest, as I may be wrong here.

I need more details, as I am little confused here. Do I give all three medicines dulcamara 200, calc carb 200 and rhus tox 200 for 3 days? Then discontinue them and start the tissue salts OR dulcamara 200 for first three days then tissue salts. If this is not effective give calc carb 200 for three days and then tissue salts. If this is also not effective then try with rhus tox 200 for three days and then tissue salts. By doing this we will come to know, which medicine i.e. dulcamara 200 or calc carb 200 or rhus tox 200 is effective. Please clarify this.
As she aggravated on calc carb 200 at the first time, I stopped calc carb 200 and never gave it again. But as suggested above, I will attempt it again.
Please suggest, so that I will continue with your suggested medicines.

I gave Dulcamara 200 for 3 days and continued with the salts. There was no effect or improvement. Then I gave Calc Carb 200 for 3 days and continued with the salts. This showed some improvement. The pains are reduced. So now I am continuing with the salts. The coldness is reduced in our city and temperatures have been normal. She had lot of pains during cold winters e.g. 10 Deg.C temperature. I will keep you posted on the progress. Thanks for your support.

I have continued with the tissue salts MPhos 6X, Calc Phos 6X and Silicea 6X.

Recently my mother is suffering from the same pains again. Thi sis observed for past 4-5 days. This has affecetd her speech also. She finds that her toung is littel heavy and she is unable to speak clearly and also can not speak for a long time. This may happen due to season change in India, as we have stared rains and the ambient temperatures have dropped a little.

Please advise further actions.

Continued the salts Mag Phos, Calc Phos and Silicea. She is much better now.

For how long these salts to be taken. Is it safe to continue them, as she feels better when she takes the salts.
