mixtures in homeopathy
Dear All Members,There are many mixtures of homeo medicines are available by reputed companies, are they effective in CURING ? or they just suppress the disease?
Recently I came across two old books named 'Septenate mixtures in Homeopathy' ,& another one by Dr.Powell, which contains different formulas for various diseases.
Can anybody on this forum guide me regarding the use of mixtures? Are these combinations useful?

This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.
I have both these books & for quite some years I have experimented with these combinations.
In some acute conditions sometimes it has helped but I could never achieve any success which I can claim as a perfect cure.
The conclusion is THEY DO NOT work.Rather if the medicines are deep acting than they spoil the case for good.This is my personal Opinion based on my own experience.

Thank you DAKTERSAAB., Actually I asked this because, i am treating a female patient.-age 30 years-, from last 2months, who has small 'about 1/2 to 1 cm' round hypopigmented patches on abdomen,on forearm and legs since many years. She had already taken Ars s f for 6months before coming to me. Along with that i have prescribed one combination from wellknown homeo company ,but there is no change. Please Can u suggest any med for her. Thanks again for the reply.

Generally this sort of patches yield to the treatment after a dose of SYPHILINUM 1000c.
You may give three doses of SYPHILINUM 1M 6 hourly in one day & then with a gap of about 3-4 days you may restart ARS.S.F. as usual. It takes about a month's time to show improvement & cure is said to be in reverse order i,e,. first getting colour changed on the edges & in the last it is the centre.
Let us hope it works.
