Dear Sunshine,

>> For your scalp problem:
1) Take one dose of sulphur 30 in the morning.
2) Take two doses of selenium 30 in the afternoon and evening.
3) Repeat 1 and 2 for three days.

Example:
Day 1 morning: 1 dose of Sulphur 30.
Day 1 afternoon: 1st dose of Selenium 30.
Day 1 evening: 2nd dose of Selenium 30.

(As far as possible avoid use of your nails/ fingers when there is a itching feeling in the scalp.)

>> For your acne / nail problems do the following on daily bases:

Before going to bed do the following:
Wash you face with good face wash (do not use soap). Pat dry.
Take a cotton ball put some drops of Echinacea Q (Mother Tincture) gently apply the medicine on the acne. You can use the same medicine for your nails also.

One dose means
If the medicine is in pills form 4 pills. Don't touch pills with hand. Use cap of bottle to take pills.
If the medicine is in liquid dilution form, 3-4 drops in some 20 ml water. Sip up slowly.

Please follow homeopathy restrictions like no coffee, no raw onion/garlic, and no strong perfumes, don't eat or drink anything within 30 minutes before or after taking medicine.

Do update me with after 3 days.

Regards,
Nikkie.

hi nikki,

i have started the dose u advised. But i have few doubts regarding this psoriasis.
is there any possibility of it spreading on the body? i mean m really worried abt it..will it pass on to my children as well??
As such there is no history of psoriasis in my family.nobody has it..m wondering how m i suffering from it, i heard its a hereditary disease..then how come i got it?

Dear Sunshine,
Psoriasis is NOT Infectious, therefore it is NOT Contagious, RELAX.

Some time immune system gets into behaviour which result in such complication, dont worry every problem has its solution around.

Dietry Advice:
Red meats, eggs and anything heavy in dairy products should be especially avoided. This means not only plain dairy products themselves but also items such as cakes, chocolate and ice cream. Citrus fruits are also known to trigger psoriasis, so they should be avoided as much as possible.
You can consume green leafy vegetables and whole grains, which are often fortified with folic acid.
A high consumption of fiber is important to help the toxins in the body clear out.

Try to trace the area on your scalp which itches more and update me.

Regards,
Nikkie.

Re: Scalp psoriasisFrom sunshine86 [Log on to view profile] on 2011-08-26
hi nikki.thank you for immediate response..

i happen to be a vegetarian so i never consumed red meat. but i love eggs, maybe now i have to avoid that too.i stopped consuming milk long time ago as it aggrevated my acne. now i only have curd. I dont like chocolates or ice creams at all so i dont consume them.

but its shocking to know that citrus fruits trigger psoriasis. i used to consume lemon juice a lot to control my acne. a doc told me that it wud flush toxins out of my system. its good to know nd now i ll stop that too..
i feel so unfortunate when it comes to food..watever i loved to eat caused me problems..:-( i used to love milk..i still do but i had to let go of it due to acne..now i have to let go eggs too..but still i wud do that if my condition improves..:-)

regarding the second question..where it itches the most..answer is straight.
"lower back of my head, above the neck" from where it all started..

Dear Sunshine,

Tip you can use:
Keep your head covered with scarf when you move outside. Avoid direct sunlight on hair. Avoid drying your hair with hot hair dryer; instead let it dry naturally after ever hair wash. Do not use chemical shampoos our strong oils on your head. Mild baby shampoos will do the trick. Once hair is dry just spread little amount of “neem oil” on your palms and move your hands on your hair that’s all, this will regain your lost moisture of hair.

>> Once the area with severe itching is noticed, try to do the following before going to bed:

Take one table spoon of water add to it 5 drops Echinacea Q (Mother Tincture) gently apply this solution medicine on the itching area with cotton ball (just tap the area just to make it wet/moist avoid dripping, no need of rubbing it). Once done dispose the solution and cotton. Initially cover small area of the size of two coins, just keep a check if there is itching in this zone.

Update me.

Regards,
Nikkie.

Re: Scalp psoriasisFrom Nikkie [Log on to view profile] on 2011-08-28
Dear Sunshine,
Do not try to pinch or touch the acne at any time. Dont worry you wont get any scars. Keep contnuing with the doses as advised. Keep applying the Echinacea on the acne before going to bed. Avoid any type of cosmetics on face for time being. Keep track of number of break outs. It will drasticaly reduce in few days. The one which are under the skin will pop up and fade off. So dont worry.

Let me know about your two fingers. ??

How is scalp over all ?
Required update on daily bases (if possible).

Regards,
Nikkie.

Not any interference just want to add an info.

Rather than managing you diet, the most bad thing and trigger for psoriasis is depression/stress. Don't panic regarding psoriasis. It is nothing to worry even if you are suffering. It can spread but scalp psoriasis usually spread where there are hairs though it can spread to other parts but rarely. If right remedy will hit then nothing to worry it will be cured soon. So in short don't panic and dont get depressed yourself :) . It is not a much big deal in homeopathy.
