| i went to an ENT with the complaint that I was having tightness/fullness sensation in my throat for about 6 weeks....he did some examining and said that I have an atypical form of acid reflux - where I don't have the normal symptoms - he prescibed Nexium - any thoughts, questions, natural remedies |

Please describe your symptoms in detail: what is the sensation, what parts of the body it affects, when it occurs, what makes it better, what makes it worse, etc.
Also, any recent illnesses prior to the onset of these symptoms and did you take any medications? Or any recent emotional upsets?

Symptoms- it feels as if the top of my throat is swollen or full...I can't pinpoint a time of day when it changes - it pretty much stays the same - no medications in the past - I don't deal with stress well - I tend to brood about things....thanks for the questions keep them coming | | |

I have treated Acid Reflux with Natrum Phos 6x, dose 2 tablets taken after the 2 main meals.
You have stated that you have a fullness of your throat throughout the day. This condition usually is felt shortly after a meal and it would help the diagnosis if you can confirm this.
In the meanwhile Nat Phos 6x should help you within 10 minutes after you take it and I would like to know how it helps you, if you take it. | | |

The fullness may be a little more after a meal but not that noticeable - ....while I eat the symptoms are almost unnoticeable....
what is Natrum Phos? Where do I get it? Is it a cure or something to control the acid? | This thread continues beneath the following ad.

Nat Phos 6x is a Biochemic salt and is the Homeopathically potentized chemical Sodium Phosphate. At the potency of 6x the concentration is just 1/1millionth of the salt. It is available at all Homeopathic pharmacies.
It operates by promoting peristalysis in the stomach and the gut and thereby prevents the formation of acidic conditions which can result if the conditions in the stomach are not condusive to the digestion of food. It will control the problem you have immediately after taking it and should normally cure it in a few days.

Suggest you take the remedy and discover for yourself if it helps you.

Are you the one who posted "Fullness in throat" on May 31st?
That lump in throat feeling you described could be Ignatia. Read up on Ignatia and see if that fits you.

How are you doing on the Nat Phos? Felt any improvement yet?
It did wonders for me and I too was diagnosed with acid reflux by an ENT who prescribed Nexium.
I took the Nat Phos according to Joe De Livera's recommendations and it did wonders.

I am glad to learn that you used Nat Phos to treat your Acid Reflux condition successfully.
This is the great service that Forums such as this provide, in helping those who wish to use Homeopathic Remedies to cure themselves merely by visiting them and reading all about their ailments and the various remedies that were used by others to cure them. I noticed that in your case you did not directly address your ailment to me or others who advice on this Forum but you obviously read the threads and took the correct remedy with successful results.
I would like to add another unusual characteristic of Nat Phos 6x and this is about its almost miraculous effect of helping the person taking it to lose weight at the rate of about 3kg per month. The dose is 2 tablets taken twice daily after lunch and dinner. It also eases bowel movement which is important in the case of the aged and has also been reported to promote deep sleep.
It is a matter of concern to me and to others who advice on this Forum that those who have been cured of any ailment do not post their reaction to their use of the remedy, in this case Nat Phos 6x.
As no doubt you have discovered, this simple remedy which is just 1/1 Millionth of the original salt which is Triturated according to Homeopathic guidelines, can work miracles with your Acididity problem and cure it permanently unlike the various other drugs that were prescribed by your MD's who are generally taught to suspect Homeopathic Remedies as they just cannot understand how any substance when diluted to such infinitismal proportions can possibly work as it defies logical thinking.
