Passiflora potencies for insomnia?

What potency of passiflora is best to use for insomnia? Some authors say the Mother Tincture, or low potencies. I have CALMS-a combination sleep remedy with pass. in it (low-x) and it has kind of a bad taste. Am looking for my son who won't want anything that tastes bad. Do all lower potencies start to taste like the original substance?

This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.
Potency is best selected individually - if the remedy is the right one (selected on the basis of the specific symptoms of that patient), you can go higher - 30c-1M. If the remedy is only selected on common, broad symptoms (that most people have when they have the problem) you would need to go lower 6c-12c. If you are only prescribing on the name of the problem, then you need to give very low potencies for best results - the X potencies or 1c-6c.

The other consideration is the strength of the problem itself - the more intense and powerful the presentation of the condition, the higher the potency needs to be as well. This may also require more frequent repetition of the dose. Very mild conditions often only need low potencies to deal with them.

Anything from 12c upwards has no molecule of the original substance left in it. The X potencies are problematic for the reason that you still have the substance in them, so there can be issues with allergies, side effects, possibly taste etc.

The C potencies, especially 6c and above, will be diluted enough that you shouldn't have any issues with taste at all (except for the alcohol, which some children hate).
