Carcinosin LM potency- or Carcinosin Cord ?

For treating a verbaly delayed child, I read that Carcinosin LM potency would be effective. The problem is I cannot find the LM potency anywhere. Have had other doctors search. The question is Does anyone have experience with using Carcinosin Cord ? or Mediral Carcinosin 15X potency ?
Can you tell me your experience with using Carcinosin on children with learning delays ?

This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.
It would be wonderful for any child who fits the overall picture of Carcinosin. Homoeopathy works best when a remedy is applied to the totality of the case rather than the name of the problem. The reality is that almost any one of our 5000+ medicines might help a child that is slow to talk, if the peculiars in the case fit that remedy. Our literature mentions 35 remedies well known for the problem, Carc being amongst them. The remedy would need to be chosen by looking at the other aspects of the case, both physical and mental.

I am not a fan of the Cords in homoeopathy. I believe that like the remedy itself, the potency is also specific to the patient, and understanding that is part of the process of understanding them. Each potency does something different, so allowing that to happen for each potency would be my preference in treatment. Going too high or too low can cause problems for a patient, and if you do not know which potency did what, you are in the same difficult situation you would be with combination remedies.

15x is very low. For learning difficulties (a mental symptom) 30c and above would be more appropriate, assuming the medicine is the right one. For children generally I find 200c and 1M to be excellent potencies, although this must be determined individually of course. One of the things potency relates too is the part of the patient the disease expresses itself through. Generally the mental level requires higher potences than the physical (there are various indications for potency though).

I appreciate your response, I have not had any success finding this in the LM or C potency. My search is still on to find a provider who can obtain that for me.

I appreciate your response

You can get those potencies easily from most reputable pharmacies. You can try Helios in London, Ainsworths in Scotland, Simillimum in New Zealand. Many pharmacies in Europe will stock it too.

Be very careful if you are self-prescribing a nosode. The nosode remedies are very deep acting and can have powerful effects - including side effects. Carcinosin is a nosode made from breast c-ancer and is extraordinarily useful for those people it fits.

I did try the Carcinosin Cord giving my daughter two drops a day and I noticed minimal effect.

I appreciate your telling me about the online Pharmacies, I found the remedy through Ainsworths at the LM1 potency in 33% alcohol.

Helios only has LM3 and up.

Thank You very much.

This potency thing interests me.

David, when you say 'generally the mental level requires higher potences than the physical' do you mean as well that in acute physical conditions like acute ear infections, insect bites and so on, the low potencies like 12D or 30D would work fine?
