calcarea iodata or calcium jodatum
Please tell me if calcarea iodata or calcium jodatum are the same.I am giving 'Calcarea Iodata 200c' to my son for the past 2 weeks and now the new bottle i have got, is from Dr willmar Scwabe named 'Calcium jodatum 200'.
Are they exaxtly the same?

no sir i dont think its spelling mistake. Check out single remedy section and there is calc i calcium jodatum on page 8 of abbreviation list of the webpage (www.schwabepakistan.com)

I think i will go ahed using jodatum instead of calcarea Iodata.

No you have it wrong. It is a spelling mistake - calcium jodatum is listed right next to Calc-i - which is the short term for Calcium iodatum.
I have been a homoeopath for 20 years and a teacher of materia medica for half that time. I can tell you now, there is no such remedy as Calcium jodatum.

I didnt mean t offend you sir. You must be right about this and it could be a spelling mistake. But if the bottle i have says that than i should leave it or take it as calcium iodatum.
Actually it might be safer to discard this bottle because i read jodatum. And i cant take risk on my son's health.

It is just a misprint - I am sure they gave you Calc-iodatum, even if their labelling is wrong.
