Aggravations and chronic disease- questions

If a medicine is given for a long, debilitating, chronic disease, and upon the first dose, there is great improvement in one of the main symptoms initially, including vitality, an aggravation occurs 2 to 3 days later (an old chronic symptom), and that aggravation passes, the main symptom continuing to improve, but then after the 3rd dose, although the main symptom continues to improve when given the medicine, and we no longer see the aggravation of the old chronic symptom, but one of the other accompanying symptoms seems to worsen, does that mean, the medicine is only partially correct? or is too early to say? or am i being too vague? Each time a dose is taken, the improvement is big in the main symptom, it's one other accompanying symptom that seems to worsen. Although this accompanying symptom was initially present and also falls under the symptoms of the medicine. Any thoughts?

This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.
Depends on what is at a deeper plane, the 'chief complaint' or the accompanying symptom.

e.g. Someone's chief complaint might be eczema and an accompanying symptom is occasional asthmatic attacks. So if under the remedy, the eczema improves with every dose but the asthma worsens, then this is opposite of what should happen in a curative process. In other words, the remedy is worsening the condition as the center of mass of the disease is moving 'deeper'.

Cure always proceeds as follows:

Within outwards (from organs of more importance to organs of lesser importance), e.g. A rash appears while asthma improves.
In the reverse chronological order of occurrence of complaints, i.e., Most recent problems get better first.
From top to bottom in the body for complaints on a similar plane, e.g. Pain in the knee gets replaced by pain in the foot.

Weakness in the legs is the accompanying symptom. Most recent problem is getting better. There was no pain initially anywhere, although the main complaint involved one of the organs.

To add to Sameer's excellent knowledge, it also depends on how close together those doses were. Too close together and it could just meant that the frequency is too great.

The frequency of the doses depended on when the main organ stopped reacting with improvement, with a substantial decrease in vitality. The worsening of the secondary symptom came after a week or two of taking a dose.

Weakness in legs existed in the past too ?

Which organ (and what symptoms there) are getting better ?

sameervermani last decade
Yes, weakness did exist in the past as well, but not the extent as it is now. But as the kidney is working a lot better, flushing out liquid- without the aid of a diuretic (as it needed before the medicine), the legs are suffering more weakness.

This is a curative movement then.

okay. The medicine that's being administered is plum met 30, the methodology is the same as the method David uses. He's taken a total of 6 doses, 12 hits. The time period between doses is getting farther apart, the last dose being three weeks after the previous one and the rxn time when a dose is given is within an hour.
How does he proceed now? THe next dose being 14 hits? Can plum met 200 be administered, and when would that be?

Yes I agree it is probably curative. It may be that the dose is too large though. You can add more dilution to reduce the aggravation - as I have done for you and your children, you can increase the number of cups you use to dilute the medicine. Some of my patients use up to 5 cups to reduce their aggravation down to a very low level.

You only increase the number of hits if the remedy has become ineffective. If you are increasing those without needing to, you are aggravating him unneccesarily.

If that is the case, reduce the number of succussions back to whatever number originially worked (this might just be 2).

There is a possibility that Plumbum might not be the simillimum, but only a similar remedy. This means that you will get accessory symptoms as part of the positive effect.

If that is the case, as you go up in potency it will acutally become less effective, and may not have any beneficial effect at all.

Could you read up on that nephritis case and let me know if you think it could be curative or more of a similar remedy? The effect came initially right away with the first dose, on the urine. With the 4th dose (8 hits), the one that brought about the leg weakness, also brought about good energy, a temporary cessation of tremors (lasted a whole two days), an old chronic aggravation, good urine output, experienced thirst (for the first time in his life) and also perspired slightly. The effects of this dose was not seen again with the next dose, except for the urine still being affected.

Did you send it by email? I got the email itself I didn't see an attached document.

I did post the symptoms on here, and i also sent you another email.

I will go looking for the case on the forum. I am currently doing some research work and using computers that have security restrictions that don't allow me to acces my hotmail account.

Do the aggravations always peak at day 4? It's day 4 since the dose and he's been urinating a lot yesterday, excessively, probably gone around 14 times yesterday, and through the night, (in the last two hours), he went 4 times. He doesn't experience thirst. He's always had a problem of oedema to some extent, and even a little intake of salt caused some amount of swelling. With the medicine, he urinates a lot more, this time more so. Should he take another medicine at this point? Or wait out this aggravation?

That can be indiviual too - it depends on a lot of factors. I typically see a peak at 3-5 days but sometimes it is faster and sometimes slower.

If it is aggravation you should wait. The problem with getting advice from people who haven't taken the case or prescribed the medicine, is that we have no particular confidence in it. It is only the practitioners confidence that allows them to stick with a prescription.

Can aggravations cause a more serious physical state, more so than the problem at hand, ie- can excess urination (caused by the med) cause dehydration...

karinamom last decade
Yes it is possible in advanced pathology, that the aggravation can be too much to bear. LM potencies should be used in such cases, and careful dosing.

I am still trying to look over the case. Seems I have a lot of patients here now so my time gets used up too quickly.

Please look over the case as soon as you can. He's following your timezone, so if he needs to antidote, or take another medicine, please please suggest asap. I have a few hours left until the time he gets up, and I go to sleep. I have read about LM potencies, but never have tried it before. He can get any remedy you suggest. Also, are you able to access the email I sent?

karinamom last decade
Ok I have sent back an email to you.

brisbanehomoeopath last decade
I did receive it yesterday, and have sent a few back, not sure if you are getting them.
