arrrggghhh!!!! my eye!!! o.0

I really need help here...

I have been suffering from Conjunctivitis for most of my life, but more so in the past 3 years. I now live in a house with carpets and a cat. I don't go near the cat and I am 3 floors away from it so I never go near it (allergic) I hoover all of the time and I have an allergen reducing spray which I use all of the time. I now have conjunctivitis AGAIN and get it pretty much every month or two. It always affects my left eye more than my right and Chloramphenicol prescribed to me by the doc doesn't seem to work on my left eye :'(

I started taking beta-carotene, Vit C with Bio-flavonoids, Eyebright and chelated Zinc. This kinda helped for a while but when I stopped taking them all hell broke loose. I had an eye infection for over 6 months last year and my left eye has always been a tiny bit red ever since. The doctor just keeps fobbing me off with the same medication as does the specialist.... WHAT DO I DO???

I've heard about Euphrasia, but don't know what strength to take etc... Please help..

Yours with a red eye

This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.
I give Euphrasia eye drops to patients to relieve the eyes. I don;t know about taking Euphrasia as a remedy because there are so many other remedies which could be suitable. See a classical homeopath and have a full case taken as this is a chronic condition in you.

I see no reason NOT to take a round of Euphrasia. At least if it doesn't work, we will know you need something else. Then we can proceed.

Homeopathic Euphrasia acts differently than the herbal Eyebright, although they have the same source.

Take 30C twice daily by mouth, melt under tongue. No foods half hour before and after. Take for 3 days to see if this is helpful to you.

Yes, there are other eye remedies.

Blessings, Sabra
