Hello to all homeopath doctors
I have grandmother that has Bell's palsy. I will answer on questions that most doctors ask patients.
1. Name : Djula
2. Age: 68
3. Sex : F
4. country : Bosnia
5. climate : Extreme winter, hot summers and beautiful Falls&Spring.
6. Chief Complain-from how many days-(time of aggravation and amelioration) : Suddenly she went to sleep in morning her mouth was upper, she couldnt close her eye, face was numb, The condition was very very bad. Right side was completely numb.impaired speech, swelling, pain, eyes wouldn't shut completely, LEFT side of the face wouldn't move at all. It started getting better after 3 months of acupuncture, but not completly cured. This happened on 1st April 2010, and still no better. Bitter taste in mouth, even honey. She swets only on one side, could not sleep till 1 am, all her bones in legs are in pain. Sometimes she has headache in left side. Cannot bear noises, she is verry irritable. Headache in sunshine.. Itching in ear. loud sounds are painful, and anger her. Teethache, and her gums are in pain. Throat.--Rough, scraped feeling. Sensation of sudden loss of power of arms and legs in the morning. Dreams full of bustle and hurry.
7. current medicine you are taking : Nux Vomica 30 C 4 granulas every 6 hours.
8. sign & Symptom of disease : There is now 2 weeks that she is taking medicine and her tase is now completly normal.
9. Slight back history : She is very healthy person. She didnt have any urgent complaints till this Bells palsy.
10. family back ground: Her parents were also healthy persons.
11. qualification of patient : House wife
12. Nature of working : Gardening
13. desire and aversion of food : Aversion to too much oily food.
14. Mind-behavior, anger, irritability, hurry, impatient…and so.. on and how you are peculiar from other person, public speaking or not , you can describe all the detail about behavior, love and affection. She has a very stable mind. She is verry worried for her unmerried son.
15. Aggravation & Amelioration
The diagnosis of doctors was Facial paralisys. And they gave her 15 injections in her neck. But nothing changed. After that they gave her 15 injections in her buttock. But again no changes. After that she went for 3 months on acupuncture and she was getting better. But her doctor have an accident so she is not going anywhere. An using only this Nux Vomica 30 C.

I have treated a patient for Bell's Palsy with Arnica 1M in the Wet dose taken twice daily with some success some years ago. His facial paralysis was helped and he was able to smile. I have lost contact with him as he left Sri Lanka where I live. He was around 40 years of age.
This ailment is rather difficult to treat and if your grandmother decides to use it, I would appreciate if you will indicate her response in 10 days.
Please follow the instructions below to make the Wet dose precisely.
The Wet dose of any Homeopathic remedy is made as follows:
Order the remedy in the Liquid pack in Alcohol, also referred to as Liquid Dilution in a bottle preferably with a dropper arrangement.
Get a 500ml bottle of Spring Water from the nearest supermarket.
Pour out about 3cm of water from the bottle to leave some airspace.
Insert 3 drops of the remedy into the bottle and shake the bottle hard at least 6 times before you sip a capfull of the bottle or a large teaspoonful which is the dose.
Shaking the bottle hard is homeopathic succussion and this enhances the effect of the remedy on the user. | | |

Thank you for reply.
I just want to be sure that I understanded You.
1. From 500 ml bottle of spring water I pour out about 3 cm.
2. Then I add 3 drops of liquid dilution of Arnica 1 M,
3. Then I shake hardly 6 times, EVERY TIME BEFORE USE.
4. The dose is capfull or teaspoon full TWICE a day. is that mean that she can take 1 dose in morning and the other in night, before bed? Is it necessery for better progress to take medicine on empty stomach?
And after 10 days we will inform you about the progress.

It has been 2 days since she is taking the medicine. And I saw her tonight, and she said till now there has not been any changes.
I told her that she have to be patient. So If any changes we felt I will inform you.

The therapy I have prescribed for your grandmother for her Bells Palsy has worked for a younger man who could not smile.
We can only hope that your GM can benefit from this therapy and if she does at her age it will be a record.
She can safely take the Arnica 1M in the Wet dose for a total of 3 weeks and if it does not help her up to that time, it can be presumed that our efforts have not been successful. | | |

I spoke with my friend who is a doctor, and he said that the reason for hers no recovery is possible due to inaccurate diagnosis and treatment of disease, or because they have destroyed her nerves by giving her in a not good way 15 shot in the neck behind the ear. This is what he said makes sense. Yet on the other side goes for a year now and there is no recovery. I'll let her continue taking the remedy three weeks in the hope that it will be recovered.
In any case I will inform you about his condition. In any case, thank you for your help and guidance.

On the basis of the information that you gave in your last post, I do not think that my remedy can help your GM.
However it will not harm her to take it for a few weeks as it will improve the flow of blood to her brain which can hopefully help in her recovery process. | | |
