hi i am 23 years old and mother of two and half years old i had insterted my iud six months ago and i am having severe pain and weight gain i wanted to remove it 'i want to ask a question that is it a right decision

Taking the birth control pill definitely caused a number of health problems for me and getting off of it definitely helped. Most IUDs have hormones as well (but check with your doctor) and therefore, in my mind, can cause problems such as you are having. However, if you do not want to get pregnant, make sure to find another non-hormonal method to replace the IUD. Best wishes!
