lupus (kidney)

Hi Sabra,

as you requested, this is a fresh posting. had replied in salma's posting earlier. this is about my sisters kidney diagnosis. the transplant is being planned at this stage, meanwhile she is on dialysis. the transplant process will take about 4 weeks, till then we are consulting a homeopathic doc as well.but the MD is not aware of it, but i do understand that homeopathy will not interfere with allopathy.
i did not get a clear reply from you on if homeopathy can revive a damaged kidney.

This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.
Transplant techniques and implications.

You should be aware that in a case of transplant of this sort
[unless from a immunologically matched family member] the subject has to be on an immunosuppressant --- such as Cyclosporin etc-- .

The problem with this is that , over a period of time the immunological system is degraded and the subject is liable to many infections.

Yes it is possible for homeopathy to help a damaged kidney -- but not after it has been removed.

hi
thanks so much for your reply. we are also hoping that she will be alright without having to go through a transplant. and since allopathy has no treatment for reviving a damaged kidney, our hopes are on the homeopathy treatment that she is undergoing.
but the dialysis also cannot be prolonged since she is exposed to many infections and we dont want to get to a stage where we dont even have the option of a transplant.
by the time a transplant is planned, we're hoping homeopathy will bring some positive changes to her condition.
are we on the right track?
