Rid off Klonopin

I have been given (prescribed) clonacepam 2-4 mg/day for anxiety issues for about 13 yrs.-My question here is, in the way to rid off it, do i need to search for a remedy that matches my personality or for one that matches the symtoms of withdrawl?

Hi I have only been on Klonopin for 4 months.I don't take the high doses you are. I am finding it diffult finding answers myself. long time ago I took an different medication that was very diffult to get off and I promised myself I would NEVER take medication like that again. It seemed desperate means called for desperate ends.I am working with a doctor of homeopathy.I notice that not many people respond to our situation.I had read some thing mentioned for those on Effexor different ways to detox.maybe if you look through the articlessome of the recommendations might apply.I am hoping that once I have sucessful moved on from the Klonopin experience I will think more than twice taking medication again I will chose a more natural solution. Do you have an opportunity to see or find a homeopathic practitioner? My little expereince with homeopathy since beginning my studies tells me you should look for a remedy that is a match for your total symptomology - bu this is very difficult to do when self-prescribing (we don't tend to really see ourselves very well).

Coming off of pharmaceuticals can have its own special problems, that's why I ask whether you have considered finding a classical practitioner who can help you.

Thank you for the advise. In fact i did have several consultations with "so called" very qualified homeopaths here in Argentine.But due lack of results i am doing my own research.
