My mother is having cervical spondilytis
My mother is having cervical spondilytis, she is 54 yrs old, weight 70 kg, ht 5'2. Is there any remedy for this ailment in homeopathy.plz rplySheetal rajput on 2011-03-03

Please describe the background to her problem, and how does it affect her life today?
How did it start? How did it progress? What treatment if any did she have? How did she respond? What is her present condition?

1) her problem all started 10-15yrs back. She used to do clerical job that time, doing typing for almost 5-6hrs continuously and then doing all households herself.
2) her life is badly affected today, presently she is doing job. She has to travel for 5hrs by bus everyday. She gets fatigued and restless, feels pain in whole body, not able to do much work. Feels very lazy. Not able to have good sleep at night
3)earlier there was only pains,bt now there is swellings in her ankles, right side getting more affected. She is having pain in her lower back, arms, elbow joints, ankles, shoulders.
4)she has undergone orthopedic treatment, acupunture. All her tests are normal i.e ESR is 7, uric acid 5.4mg/dl,MRI normal, bone density normal
5)response is not good, relief for sometime and then back to original condition and even worse. Allopathic treatment is not helpful.relief from it is very short term. She is totaly dependent on painkillers, which has resulted in gastric problems.
6) presently she is undergoing orthotreatment but not much relief. She is having back pain,swelling in her ankles,fatigued, not able to stand and walk for a long time affecting her daily life badly. Plz reply

She does seem to be a chronic case which can take some months to hopefully resolve.
Her remedies are:
Rhus Tox 30c
Arnica 30c
Both remedies to be taken twice daily in the Wet dose made as follows into separate bottles:
The Wet dose of any Homeopathic remedy is made as follows:
Order the remedy in the Ethanol pack also referred to as Liquid Dilution in a bottle preferably with a dropper arrangement.
Get a 500ml bottle of Spring Water from the nearest supermarket.
Pour out about 3cm of water from the bottle to leave some airspace.
Insert 3 drops of the remedy into the bottle and shake the bottle hard at least 6 times before you sip a capfull of the bottle or a large teaspoonful which is the dose.
Shaking the bottle hard is homeopathic succussion and this enhances the effect of the remedy on the user.
Report progress weekly.

She is also having gastric disturbance. Any remedy for that?
Are there any food restrictions for her?
Also she is 10-15kg overweight, what kind of physical activity that she should do? Plz Reply

No coffee, preserved meats like sausages, ham bacon which are laced with Saltpeter.

Week2:
Stop giving Arnica. Then,
Every morning, take 4 pellets of SPIGELIA 30 - one dose in a day (every day for 7 days)
Write back after 2 weeks. You will need the following medicine after that:
Arnica 200, Spigelia 200, Medhorinum 200 (you can buy, but wait for further instructions from me)
