Persistent acne affecting self esteem- please help

I'm a 36 year old female and I've had acne ever since I was a teenager. In my early 20's I took Roaccutane, a prescibed drug for cystic acne and although it has helped reduce the acne (it did my health tremendous harm at the time) I'm still getting hard pustules under the skin. The pustules are fairly hard and lumpy, not particularly red, but they stand out because they raised bumps. If squeezed gently they are resistant to yield their load; they feel very solid. They are mainly along my jaw line and neck indicating that the problem is hormonal. I also sometimes get small red spots on my chest and back.

My skin is generally quite oily but I dont tend to have spots anywhere else on my face apart from jaw line and neck.

I'm generally quite an anxious person and suffer from asthma. I'm 5ft 2inches, medium build with brown hair, hazel eyes and a fair complexion. I crave sweet things, bread and fats (cheese). I suffer also from a bit of chronic fatigue as seem to need lots of sleep. Function best in late afternoon and evening but definitely not the mornings.

Phos seems to be my constitutional remedy as well as Thuja. Thuja had no effect on my spots. I have also tried Hepar Sulph but with no positive results in terms of acne. I'm wondering what remedy would be best suited for my type of acne... so far Antimonium Tartaricum, Kali Brom and Sulphur seem to be indicated as potential remedies. Could anyone advise which remedy would be best to try, I'm desperate!

Thanks,

Zoe

If you fill out the patient intake form, please mention your response to both Phos. and Thuja. Thuja will generally not be helpful for acne or skin eruptions (psora).

Please describe what remedies you've used and how long you've used them for.

I forgot to mention that I have also suffered from hemmorroids in the past.

I took Nat Mur 1LM for depression in the past and this helped.

Thanks,

Zoe,
Why you have fear of rejection? Were you rejected in the past?
What were its efects on you?
What did you think about it then?

I felt very rejected by my father as a child, I think it stems from there. He is a clergy minister and as a child he was always angry, made me feel as if I was invisible.

I was bullied quite badly when I was 9 years old when we moved to another part of the country. My brother and I spoke with different accents to the kids at the new local school and we were gentle so seemed to be a target for the kids who were quite rough.

Nat Mur and Staph have helped a great deal with my fear of rejection.

Zogra,
I am still with Natrum Mur.
I would advice you to take it in 6C potency.
One dose per week.
Take 4-5 drops of Nat-mur 6C in 10-15ml of water in the mornng on empty stomach.
Keep me updated in between.
