The ABC Homeopathy Forum

Anxiety, anger, chronic worry, stress

I am seeking a remedy for my condition which manifests in anger, anxiety, and worry. Anger: Since I was young I have always had anger and frustration issues. When I do not get my own way or am debates with it surfaces often. When anyone (whether a person of authority or not) criticizes me I hold onto the anger for days and the anger resurfaces in the future when I think about it again. I cannot 'let go' of anger or frustrations, and hold grudges.

Worry: I worry about the most minor things. I carry the worry throughout my day and am unable to lose the through of something once the worry begins. I may wake up at 3:00am worrying about a bad conversation that I've had with someone, and cannot fall back asleep as I cannot stop thinking about it. This takes place most frequently with work and money concerns that I hold onto. My husband wants me to let things go, but I cannot. I cannot meditate, my mind wanders to worrysome thoughts.

Anxiety/Stress: I am always anxious about basic things, and need to make lists because I am fearful of forgetting anything. Even small tasks make my heart race. I am a very capable person and excel at tasks, and do get pleasure at the completion of tasks/projects. The anticipation of them causes stress.

Other symptoms include grinding my teeth at night and insomnia. I have a hard time falling asleep, and have extremely vivid dreams and very frightening nightmares at least monthly. Some of the dreams have premonition qualities. Chronic constipation and acne. Constant runny nose, urge to pick nose. Constant sweating which is aggrevated by stressful circumstances. Allergies to many plants/animals/fragrance. Dry itchy legs.

I like to be at home (homebody) with family, but feel lonely when alone. I like to have other people near (in house) but leaving me alone to be by myself in another room.

Prior homeopathic treatments for sleep (calms forte) and for mastitis.

Hi,

What are you allergic to ? What symptoms do those things produce ?

What homeopathic remedies have you taken in the past ?

Anything which makes you feel better or worse in general ? (examples factors are: open air, sunlight, seaside, massage, touch, darkness, perspiration, certain types of foods, thunderstorms, music, exertion....etc)

Diseases that run in your family ?

Any food cravings or aversions ?

I am allergic to many trees, grasses, molds, cats and dogs and they cause my eyes to itch, runny Mose, sneezing, itchy skin when licked by dog.

I am comforted by being in bed, evenings, having 'no plans and nothing to do' but am aggrivated by impending plans even if they are positive activities planned. Knowing I have something ahead of me on the calendar causes anxiety. I pick and bite my fingernails to self soothe. I find showers to be relaxing, massage, hottubs, and baths are all relaxing. I am relaxed by washing and drying my hair (cleanliness). I have a healthy family with no medical issues, and believe I am the only one with anxiety problems. My family is very calm and stressfree.

Confrontation also aggrivates my condition. I become agitated when someone I am with criticizes food at a restaurant for example. I am also terrified of public speaking and have been for my entire life, and feel people are judging me negatively when I need to speak in front of a group.

None for this condition. Hylands 'Calms Forte' as a sleep aid (works well for me for mild insomnia) and
phytolacca decondra for mastitis. That is all I've tried. Thank you for
your help.

Also exercise, open air, open spaces (beach, mountains) help me relax and cities and public places cause the condition to worsen greatly. I do not crave food or have food aversions. I am not a picky eater and like a wide variety of foods.

3 doses of LYCOPODIUM 30c, equally spaced for 1 single day ONLY. I.e. 3 doses on one day and from next day no more doses.

Dissolve 2 pellets of Lycopodium 30c in a 250 ml spring water bottle. If you leave the pellets for 30 mins in water, they will melt. You can turn the bottle upside down a few times for the pellets to spread after melting to dissolve.

1 teaspoon from here using a disposable spoon is 1 dose.

Let me know in 7 days after the doses.

1/. Nothing should enter the mouth for 40 minutes prior to, or after taking the remedy.
2/. Do not touch the tablets (in your case the liquid) with your hands, tip them into the cap of the container they came in and then into the water .
3/. Avoid coffee, tea (including green), and other sources of caffeine such as some fizzy drinks and large amounts of chocolate, except where this would cause a drastic change in consumption
4/. Avoid wearing perfume/aftershave, or exposure to anything with a strong smell while under treatment. This includes any and all essential oils, and incense.
5/. Avoid the consumption of excessively spicey foods
6/. The use of medicinal herbs, either as 'teas' or supplements should be AVOIDED during Homoeopathic treatment, as should the use of over the counter medication, unless this has been recommended by an MD.
7/. Nothing of a medicinal nature should be applied to the skin
