muscle pain right shoulder
years ago I found a remedy in store that specifically targeted pain in shoulders. (in the back of neck and shoulders) it was great! I have tried arnica and bryonia alba, but not very effective. can you tell me what that remedy might be? the stores don't seem to carry it anymore.Many thanks.

Can you say a bit about what kind of pain you have.
Boring, Tearing, Cutting, Burning, Pulling, Stinging, Shooting, Pressing pain.
And, is there anything that helps the pain? Heat, motion, etc. Or if it's making it worse?

this pain is from overuse of my arm. I am a very hard worker and I am scrubbing, cleaning, gardening etc. all day.
the pain is pressing, and now getting worse and is burning and stinging.
aspirin, of course helps, as does Ben Gay.
motion of course makes it worse.
a few years ago it was just my shoulder in the back, now it travels up my neck and all around the area of my right arm.

Quite frankly, I do not think homeopathy, alone, will be able to help you. Maybe in the short term. As long as you continue this job, resulting in overuse of the shoulder., It will only be a temporary relief.
What you also have to do is physiotherapy.
This is my opinion, or what I think.
When it comes to what homeopathy medicine you need, it's 2-3 that are relevant.
You have already tried Bryonia, but in what potency?
Does it hurt most when you work, or when you are at rest?
Does it feel better when you massage the painful shoulder?
Or is it best to keep your arm perfectly still. And at what time, is the most hurt?
What you also have to do is physiotherapy.

I agree with you, it sounds like a liver malfunction.
However, Dr. Parakletos may consider suggesting to the patient for this chronic case, a high potency Bryonia for his severe pain at the moment.

For the time being Bryonia is ok. If liver is in bad shape then ...Chellidonium...is a better answer.

If the pain is gone, and the shoulder is good, oyu dont need to take any moore.

You have no basis to make such a statement, especially when you read that this woman has problems because of her hard work.

It is not a matter of scaring.
It was a possibility....in many cases here at ABC itself it turned out to be true and the persons were thankful for having pointed out the possibility.
If you can't read the signals of symptoms...it is rather unfortunate.

So I suggested physical therapy, along with Homeopathy. but I never got any answer.
The patient found out, on your own, what remedy she needed.
Fortunately it does not seem like she cared so much about what you wrote, but another person could have been very frightened.
One can not make such statements, as you do, without having any basis for this. No serious homeopath would act in such a way.

I do this work as my offering to my Guru...Sathya Sai Baba...coz he says service to society is service to God.
May be in your eyes ...what appears to be an error, in some one elses eyes it might be just the right thing to have pointed out...and for him / her to take up necessary investigation.

I'm sorry this caused such controversy. I appreciate any input. If the arnica 2oo didn't work, Yes, I would have gone to my Internist for a simple blood test to check for liver problems.

to nsmith-my dosage is pretty much whenever I overuse my right arm-such as operating a fairly heavy leaf blower! I'm 67 years old and have been doing all the heavy chores around the house for 30 years as I am pretty strong-but because of this,that whole area of muscle is weaker!--but one dose a day of 200 helps all day.,I don't know your individual problem, but did you check with the doctors??
