Lac caninum has thousands of possible symptoms/uses. Can you be a little more specific?

Any one of our 5000+ medicines can cure bloating, allergies and headaches. These are general symptoms which are not unique to any remedy, and so belong to all of them.
I still don't understand what you need to know. Have you been prescribed the medicine by someone? Are you thinking of taking it?

It is made from dog's milk.
10M is a high dose but not unheard of. I hope that you are only being give a single dose and not repeated ones.

Just said a lower dose wouldn't work so well - need a higher dose.
What are your thoughts on this - I'd appreciate.

It is hard to judge without knowing your case. I rarely start so high, although on occasion I have used 10M for the intial prescription.
I have however used 10M later on in treatment, with very little problem.
The question you have to ask yourself, is do you trust your homoeopath? It will be difficult to go further without trust - the homoeopath is as responsible for that as you are, and sometimes a compromise is necessary to engender that trust (compromise comes from both sides).

Thanks for that. I've told him it's way too high for me - initially to start anyway - I know how I react and sometimes I find once my body has been introduced to the remedy at a low level - only then - can I start the higher potency - if you can understand what I'm trying to say.

It's quite strange that when I've not had a remedy before it's like my body tunes in and I'll get some sort of aggravation.
However if say for example I took nat mur for a sinus problem years ago and don't take another dose for a good few years - I'd have an aggravation the first time but when I take it again it's like my body recognises that I've had the remedy before - even though there's been a good few years since the last dose and I don't have an aggravation - or if I do - very slight and nothing like my first dose.
Is this normal?

It is not normal no. It is not unheard of however, and some patients are especially sensitive to homoeopathy. This sensitivity can be cured or at least moderzated by their simillimum however.
Sensitive patients can be difficult to manage at times, as they appear to aggravate on everything you give them. Since normally aggravation is a sign that a remedy is working, you can get a lot of false starts with sensitives.
On the other hand, I also welcome them into my practice, as they often produce many symptoms that help me to understand the remedies better (this is not really a plus for the patient of course).

I was going to say with me depends on the strength of the remedy but then I've aggravated bad on 6c and LM though the LM tends to only last 1 day whereas a 6c has lasted 3 days before.

My first ever experience of homeopathy in 1985 (puls - two tablets taken 3 hours apart and not sure of the strength) aggravated with me for 3 weeks - thought she'd killed me but after the third week the improvement started and it was absolutely brilliant after that - hence my interest in homeopathy.

Yeah you are an ultrasensitive :)
The only way I was able to cure the person I mentioned, was to dilute 1 drop in a full cup of water, 5 times. In other words she used 5 separate cups, putting a drop in the first, then taking a teapsoon out of that and putting it into the second, and so on. With each cup, the aggravation reduced from 3 weeks, to 1 week, to 3 days, to 1 day, to 2-3 hours, to just a few minutes. She had been unable to use homoeopathy up until this time.
