Boils! Help!

Over the past 9 months, I have developed an increasing problem with boils/cysts/absesses on my skin. They first appeared on my inner thighs right near my genitals, two of them, one on each leg. They were large, inflamed, painful, red and purple. I had trouble walking. I applied hot compresses, but these did not help them come to a head, only relieved the pain a bit. They popped on their own, with just the tiniest scar now left. I then developed cysts (boils? abscesses?) under my arms. The first, about 6 months ago, was so painful and large I went to the ER to have it lanced. I had put hot compresses on this one too, and drained it many times, covering it with bandages, but nothing helped. I developed a fever, and a huge area around the abscess was hard to the touch, red, and very warm. There is a larger scar under my arm from this boil. Then, a few months ago, I started to develop smaller, similar boils/pimples along my rib cage under my arms (the sides of my chest, near to my arm pits and breasts). They are intermingled with pimples that pop up now and again. It is a little village of skin irritations. Just last week, another large boil developed under my right arm. This one is also painful to the touch (stinging), and very large and hard. Hot compresses help only temporarily with the pain, not with the size. This one is bruising (yellow and green) and my skin has begun to peel around it, and flake off. I am worried if this problem continues any more I will end up with a body full of scars, or worse, that it is an indication of extreme unbalance in my system.

I have tried taking apis mellifica 12c. Do I need a different potency? Or a different remedy altogether?

Any insight would be greatly appreciated. I don't want to just give up and go to the dermatologist, but I might have to!

Extra information: I do smoke with varying frequencies (trying to quit...), and I do drink coffee (probably 8 oz. a day when not taking a remedy).

Nawaz, thank you for your reply.

I enjoy my sleep but have been waking up feeling exausted and achey. I exercize but not regularly, and when I do I tend to enjoy outdoors/social activities. I work in human services, which can often be stressful. I am prone to anxiety, obsessive thoughts, and compulsive behavior like eating and shopping. I am a vegetarian. I crave salty, vinegary, spicy foods. I like my alone time, but have a large group of friends that I am social with. I am in a relationship that is fulfilling, although I tend to get clingy and insecure at times. I have been jumpy in terms of noises lately. I dislike large crowds of people (like at shows or fairs). I just turned 29. I sweat a lot in the summer, sweat will be pouring down my face. It is tasteless though, like water.
