Need urgent help with chickengunia
My mother in Mumbai is suffering from chicken gunia since last 2 months. she is in acute pain and has swollen left hand fingers, is unable to balance herself and falls. All allopathic medications just provide cure temporarily and she has lot of other side effects insteadd. i am not in mumbai and very worried for her. Please help; I can make arrangements to get the medicines for her and help her with the pain. I am afraid if she continues allopathy, she may have other side effects and impair her other bodily organs.madsch on 2010-09-13

I also wanted to know if there was any doctor in Goregaon, Mumbai who could go to our residence to see her and prescribe medication. She is incapable of travelling.

What is her age and general condition.
Any particular reason for falling. i.e. excessive weakness or pain.
What about thirst and general condition i.e. sleeping a lot and very dull or anxious, restlessness, etc.
What treatment she got and do she is properely diagnosed with chickengunia or a guess.

She is 74 years.
Reasons for falling she thinks are due to the allopathic medication.
She feels thirsty but recently has being feeling asleep a lot and very dull, anxious, and restless as described. Moreso the feeling like sleeping all the time may be due to the very strong doasages of medicines as well as she is unable to sleep in the night because of the pain and hence feels like this throughout the day.
There was no diagnosis specicifically for chickengunia. It is based on her symptoms, that they indicated that it coud be chcikengunia. Like high fever, followed by loose stools and then acute joint pain and swelling of fingers etc.

Which medicines she had been given by allopathic doctors.
Do she had pets in house or around or lots of rats in house.
