My 15 year old daughter has an attack similar to allergic attach a few days to a week before her period.
It starts off with sniffling, gets intense with sneezing, very intense for a few hours, and then take s a day or two to completely subside. Earlier if we caught it early and gave Allium cepa, it came under control. If we try Allium after the attack starts nothing seems to help. A homeopath asked us to try Bio 5 in liquid dose, as often as every 15 mts, this also does not help too much.
Clarytin - antihistamine tablet seems to bring it under control in a day or two.
Two to 3 days after this attack the period comes.
This does not necessarily get so intense in all cycles.
She is quite unconcerned and not worried about this. i am the one who gets concerned.
She got her periods at age 11. It took 2.5 years to regularize. Even now flow is very heavy in some cycles.
When excessive, doctor has asked her to take Trapic tablet, and half of the tablet, brings it under control. Now periods come every 30 days, a bit off during exams stress.
Othewise she is very athletic, tall and wheat complexioned, tans easily, very outgoing and happy.. Also another problem is she has some hair growth at her stomach and back of waist excessive when you consider she is a girl.
Help to a complete cure both for PMS allergy and hair problem appreciated.

Also a week before period she has a brownish Leukorrhea discharge, worse when she plays games/sports. Confirmed this is not spotting. | | |

Arnica 30c in the Wet dose taken twice daily for a few weeks and later just once daily before bed for a long time can help her.
The Wet dose of any Homeopathic remedy is made as follows:
Order the remedy in a 5ml Ethanol pack also referred to as Liquid Dilution in a bottle preferably with a dropper arrangement.
Get a 500ml bottle of Spring Water from the nearest supermarket.
Pour out about 3cm of water from the bottle to leave some airspace.
Insert 3 drops of the remedy into the bottle and shake the bottle hard before you sip a capfull of the bottle or a large teaspoonful which is the dose.
Shaking the bottle hard is homeopathic succussion and this shaking must be done every time before sipping a capful of the bottle is sipped as directed.

We did do a scan a few years back and at that time ruled our PCOS as her periods were still irregular then.

I am glad to note that my diagnosis of PCOS even though I have never met your daughter, is spot on.
I have treated many patients who presented heavy bleeding during their periods accompanied by acute pain and they have invariably been cured by Arnica which stabilizes their problems in a few days. Some of them reported PCOS while others Endometriosis and it was very satisfying to me to use my default remedy Arnica to help them. You may not know that this remedy is not the standard remedy for heavy bleeding and irregular periods but I have pioneered in the use of Homeopathic remedies in the treatment of ailments not listed against them in the classical texts and have helped so many thousands of patients to achieve a status of health which allopathic drugs and homeopathic remedies have not thanks to my therapy, which incidentally was derisively labelled "Joepathy" by the classical homeopathic fraternity.
It would be of academic interest for me to learn how your daughter responds to Arnica with her next period.

Arnica in the Wet dose is absolutely safe in daily use and I have taken the 30c myself every night since 1996. Many classical homeopaths warned me many years ago that taking any remedy daily for extended periods must lead to various serious diseases but I decided to take the challenge and have proved all of them wrong. I have found that taking Arnica nightly has helped me to achieve a status of health which at age 81, surprises even me. My BP is <120/80 Pulse 65 and Lipid Profile is equivalent to a teenager's. I do not have any aches or pain in my body. I have no doubt that I owe it to Arnica taken in the Wet dose which is different from taking the pellets which are usually available.
It is again of academic interest that you the mother, was also diagnosed with PCOS with the Hair problem and this is somewhat surprising as it is the opposite sex in one's children that the genes are invariably noticed. In other words your genes are usually inherited by your son and the father's genes by the daughter. I presume that you too suffered from the same problems associated with your periods as your daughter.

The pellets are not half as effective as the remedy in Ethanol. You are advised to order the remedy as prescribed for best effect in the 30c potency. The 20c is of no avail. |
