Dear Pankaj,
I'm a 28 year old male living with pilonidal sinus with the last 9 years.1 & a half years ago i had an operation to remove the puss & tract but the surgery was so extensive & there was so much puss that the surgeon said he wasn't sure if he had got all the puss & he was unable to remove the tract & i would have to come back for another operation for the tract to be removed.I have not gone back for the second operation because the after math of the last one was very unpleasant.It is not as bad now as before surgery as the painful cyst is gone but there is a pit[hole] down which rarely oozes & can be sore & 2 other small holes above that & a red spot which is tender to touch.I feel it slowly beginning to get worse.I have read all your posts on the topic & i have started your treatment on sunday-myristica 200c, 3 doses in half hour gaps. My question is when do i start taking the calcarea sulph 6x- is it 48 hrs after taking the myristica 200c or 48 hrs after something bursts & puss starts coming out. Your guidance would be very much appreciated.

2. Post details of the effect of the Myristica dose after 7 days of taking the first dose.
Meanwhile start taking Silicea 6c or 30 c....twice a day.

I'm male.
I thought your treatment was to take another dose of myristica 200c after 5 days if the puss has not burst & not to start taking silicea 6c until it bursts.
Sorry i dont mean to be questioning you- I will do as you say if you think It,s best.

You can start with Silicea.
When the sinus bursts at the surface level...post details here.

I will start the silicea 6c twice a day or is it 3 times a day?
Q.Will I take the second dose of myristica 200c tomorrow which will be 5 days after I took the first dose if the sinus has not burst.

I haven,t seen any visible change in the sinus so far.
I will take the second dose of myristica 200c tomorrow morning and I,ll take the silicea 6c 24 hrs after that twice a day.

Hi Pankaj,
I took the second dose of myristica 200c this morning and im due to go back on the silicea 6c tomorrow morning.
I am delighted to say the red spot has burst and when I touch it with tissue I can see small traces of blood and yellow puss on it.So it may be oozing very slowly.
Can you please tell me what is my next step now?

Keep cleaning up the area ... then apply Calendula cream externally all over the area.

I have the myristica 6c.How many pills is in each dose? Do I repeat it in half hour gaps like the myristica 200c.

Take 5 pills under the tongue only once in the morning for 5 consecutive days.
Rinse and clean your mouth with water before that.
This is to be done first thing in the morning on getting up from bed.
Brushing of teeth, eating , taking tea etc only 1/2 hour after taking the dose.
Avoid garlic, coffee, strong spices, use of strong perfumes, smelling camphor fumes etc totally.
No alcohol, drugs use at all during this treatment.
(You can have a beer or two...but in moderation only. Avoid hard drinks, liqueurs etc ).
