Remedy aggravation question

I have a 7 year old son who is mentally delayed and speech delayed. We saw an homeopath and he asked to give him Sulphanilamide for a few weeks.I started giving the remedy every day 2 weeks but dien't see any changes(though i might have missed a couple of days). Some days I gave the dry remedy but sometimes I dissolved it in water and gave him. Then we had to travel and so couldn't give him the remedy for a few weeks. Finally I started giving the remedy again from 1st June to 20th June every day. However 2 weeks into the remedy we started seeing very controlling(compulsive) behavior from my son. For eg. If he sees us walking, then he would ask us to do the same walking motion. Basically he wants the sameness. If he sees my hand in one position, he wants me replay that position for him. He would be so anxious and would cry so much until we did what he wanted. Also, his ears have become so sensitive that he is constantly closing his ears and sometimes he says his ears are hurting .He doesn'tlet us use the tap or microwave or anything that makes noise. I stopped the remedy and he has been off the remedy for 1 month now, but his behavior has not changed. Also he was so attached to me before the remedy but now he has become more attached to my husband. Our life has become so stressful the last one month because of his compulsiveness to control us. I talked to the Homeopath and he is asking us to move to 12c now.
I have couple of questions:
1) is my son's behavior an aggravation of the remedy
2) if it is aggravation how long does it take for the aggravation to come down
3) is there a difference in taking the remedy dry and mixing it in water
4) is there a way to bring the aggravation down and bring him back to the baseline

I started Homeopathy because i thought it would be a gentle healing process, but now i am worried to try even the next dose.I would truly appreciate your input and thoughts.
thanks

This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.
Something which has great power to cure also has a great power to harm as when it is used indiscriminately.

Any homeopath who asks to repeat a remedy for 'weeks' does not know how this science works.

Stay away from him. He is another one of the pseudo-homeopaths bringing this wonderful science to disrepute.

The only way to stop this aggravation is to stop all dosing immediately, and wait for 10 days or so. If this still persists, an appropriate antidote is to be used. The choice of anti-dote would depend on the symptoms being experienced after the waiting period, and would also depend on the the remedy that caused this aggravation.

Antidoting is best done through a single dose of 6c or 6x potency, given through olfaction (taking a quick sharp short sniff from a alcohol based liquid dilution bottle).
