dr kadwa - wife's health
Hello Doctor,My wife had her periods within 20 days and with profuse bleeding and with it she was feeling giddy for past couple of days.
I got her BP, BS, Urine and Lipid done.
Her BP is 160/90
Albumin - Trace in urine.
Rest all her tests are OK.
The giddiness has made a mess in my home. You would not believe that she is continuously in bed and whenever she stands she complains of giddiness. We are daily getting our lunch/dinner from the hotels for the past 10 days.
The Gynec has prescribed - Calcigard - 5mg twice a day (BP) and some tonics and some protein powder to be taken with milk.
Pls help.

day 2 to day 7
2 tablets of the each of the following ayurvedic medicines with 20 ml Ashokarishta in the morning and evening after meals.
chandraprabha vati
stri rasayana vati
Please procure above ayur medicines from Swami Ramdev's Divya Pharmacy. It is always better to crush ayur tabs by teeth before swallowing.
Please report after 7 days.
Nux Vomica 200c thrice a day at a gap of 4 hours.
day 2 to day 7
2 tablets of the each of the following ayurvedic medicines with 20 ml Ashokarishta in the morning and evening after meals.

**Yes, Homeo remedies act at dynamic plane and ayurvedic remedies at nutritional plane so that is ok. We have already discussed this issue earlier when we discussed use of mukta vati for High Blood Pressure.

The ayurvedic medicines that have been suggested should help her regulate her periods and also in her weakness due to irregular periods. She may take 1 tab of Muktavati 1 hr before morning meals and another one 1 hr before her evening meals.

Her periods came on time. By the way she took the meds for a week and later on stopped as per your advice. (Ashokarishta, Chandraprabha vati and Sthri rasayana vati)
She still continues to take Mukta vati 2 times a day as per your suggestion. How long does she need to continue.
The giddiness is being there with her for the past 1 month. She also got her eye checked along with perimetry. She was recomened glasses with bifocal with increased power.
She was given cocculus 30C (Suggested by Dr Mahfooz) which I thought would take care of her giddiness. Somehow it has not taken care of the important problem. Bcoz of the giddiness she is not able to do anything neither is it possible to go to the market.
Could you pls look into it.

Just caught the flu. Severe throat dryness with pain. head heavy. Sneezing, Dripping nose, nose block and pain in the joints.Severe coryza etc.

With the rains and dampness, pain occured behind the neck, shoulder and back of the shoulder. Dr Kadwa advised Lycopodium 30C. The pains cleared off.
Presently have taken Ferrum Phos 6x along with kali muir 6x from yesterday night.Occassional cough.
By the way with the rains H1N1 has increased in Pune. A bit scared.
Pls do advise what medicines to be taken or would Ferrum Phos 6x do.

Ars, Phos and Merc. have received good recognition in combatting flu in the current phase of Swine Flu. Of course any indicated remedy should work. But when the indicated remedy can't be easily worked out there is no harm in taking three doses of such recognized remedy.
By the way, where is Dr. Niel, our friend, philosopher and guide.

Do you think with the symptoms what I have mentioned does it point to Swine Flu? But then Homeo meds take care of all flu, thats what everyone says.
Anyway I have taken 3 doses of Phos 200C. The chest heaviness and congestion though reduced still prevails. A bit of headache.
No idea of Dr Neil Madhavan. Missing him.
I trust homeo meds and treatment.

Dear Doctor,
The chest congestion, heaviness, burning continues along with constant hawking and clearing of the throat.
The goodness which was prevailing for a long time deteorated. I was in good health. After taking Lyco for the back pains and shoulder pains, the problems resurfaced.I am not sure whether it was due to Lyco.
I had this exact problem couple of months back which Dr Neil successfully treated and almost all the problems were cleared.

Should I take the meds and simultaneouly take Sulphur.

You may start Sulphur alongwith the antibiotics. After taking few doses, you may take a single dose of Iodium.

You should follow the pattern of dosing that helped you in the past. There is no need to worry about homeo and allopathy at the same time. There is nothing wrong.
