pilonidal cyst (I already read ur forums....but)
i am 24 years old having pilonidal cyst since 15 months.first time when my cyst burst...i went to doctor. he cleaned the puss and gave me antibiotics for a week. it took around 10 days for my bleeding to stop completely...doctor suggested me to have surgery when i went for second consultation.
after that incident i was getting regular flare-ups and swellings....but yesterday cyst had burst and i am bleeding again...
when i was looking in internet, i found this website and read all the forums regarding pilonidal cyst....
now, my question is...since i am already bleeding...shall i start using silicea 30 and later silicea 200c as per pankaj advised?
...please.....help....

This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.
Take a dose of Myristica 200 as this will push out more pus that is lodged below the surface level of the skin. (It is always there).
It is a cleaning up operation and such things area little messy. However , you have to go thru it to get rid of the problem. Keep cleaning the area and locally apply Calendula cream.
After one week will start with Silicea.
Report feed back meanwhile.

i have to sit for about 7 hours atleast in office....could you please suggest any procedure when the pus is draining ( i am thinking of using gauge pads with tape !)

I have often prescribed that the patient sits on a hollow cushion as this eases the pressure on the area and thereby helps in the healing process.

If Pankaj thinks it OK, I believe that Arnica 30c in the Wet dose taken twice daily will also help in the healing process.

Nope...Arnica comes last when other meds have completed their job. Arnica at this stage will begin to seal up the surface area of the skin...thereby leaving the pus inside...which will trouble you again and again.
You still need Myristica 200.
However for the time being you can take Myristica 30c
one dose every morning for 3 consecutive days.
For sitting...find the most comfortable way.

i had a dose(4 pills) of myristica 30c this morning....i ordered myristica 200 again and is on the way

i received myristica 200c on wednesday and on thursday morning i had a dose(5 pills) in the morning. i had 3 doses of myristica 30c on consecutive days as prescribed before.
as of now, the cyst is of peanut size and very little pus is discharging (with some blood which is bright red). usually the cyst is smaller in mornings and by evening it grows to little bigger size with some pain. this might be due to long time in sitting position.
please advise further follow up....

its been 4 days since I had a dose of myristica 200....right now the pus discharge is yellow in color...occasionally with blood oozing out....(remember .. cyst is burst open 2 weeks ago ago)

All of a sudden there is a heavy discharge of blood(bright red) from the cyst. The discharge is continuous. I kept on wiping with tissue but discharge did not stop.
for about 3-4 days before there was no discharge of pus or blood. it all happened suddenly.
please follow-up.

Yes the blood flow will be followed by expulsion of pus.
Also, pus is interlaced with blood. Myristica is working like a sugeon's knife.
Keep cleaning the area and apply Calendula cream externally.
Yo u will have to bear with this unpleasant experience...however...that is the way healing will take place. The accumulated pus has to be expelled out.

from monday-friday, since I will be in sitting position from morning to evening starting today.
Its been 11-12 days I had a dose of myristica.
I request you to go through previous posts in the forum between us and PLEASE SUGGEST ME MEDICATION, PRECAUTIONS
and DOS/DONT'S for the next 6-7 days so that I would be aware and act quickly.

If the discharge of pus takes place...you have to manage it.
There is no other way to heal your self. The pus has to flow out through a discharge.
If you had opted for surgery...yo u would have been bed ridden for 21 days.

Its been 48 hours....the discharge is stopped and no bleeding or pus since last 24 hours.....
i had one dose of silicea and have 2 more times this day....
i just want to inform you that when the first drainage happened the bleeding lasted for about 4-5 days and now, I think it got dried up in one day....(I might be late in taking myristica 200c because of the events posted earlier in theis forum)...
please suggest.....
