Sore throat, Fever, Headache, ear pain
Hi,It all started with a cold water bath in the night 3 days back. The next day I had pain in throat. By the end of the day it got severe and got fever. The next day(i.e yesterday) fever was high 101-102 continuously and I started getting ear pain.
Yesterday, I went to a doctor. She said it could be from strep or because of Virus. She prescribed penicillin for strep. The test for virus will be done by tomorrow.
Even today fever was high(101-103). I tried the following drugs.
Belladona - Throat
Bryonia - Throat
Hepar Sulph - Throat
Ars Alb - Incase its virus
Eupt Perf - Incase its virus
Influenzinum - Incase its virus
All 200 potency.
Nothing is helping. Please let me know what drug should I take.
Your help will be greatly appreciated.

A hoemo doctor suggested this. First he suggested BBelladona for sore throat and fever. we tried 3 doses in 2 hrs gap, it dint work, Then we tried bryonia, then heparsulph.
Then he suspected that it could be because of virus and then gave virus drugs.
Please let me know what can I do now. No drug is matching the symptoms.
If its because of using too many drugs, How can i start fresh and which drug shoiuld I hold on to?

It seems now reasonable.
From your first post it seems you take all these medications almost together.
Since your first what about your condition.

Climate and season - Summer(Hot as in India). Usually dry but its damp weather now - high humidity.
I have thirst.
I feel hungry.
So, Bryonia 200 is suited in this sense.
But it doesn't work well that much for sore throat. I even tried Bryonia 1M. No response. All in 2 hrs gap.
Tried Hepar and Belladona. No response.
Then we thought its virus. Then tried Ars Alb, Eupt Perf, Influenzinum in 1 hr gaps. My fever came back normal from 3 pm-8pm yesterday. It was 98 during this period. But, around 8:30 it started again. In addition to that I got severe headache which was not there till yesterday.
I tried baptisia to control fever an hr back. Please let me know what grug should I use. I am hoping that Homeo can cure me.

Please suggest what food I can eat. I am just having barley. I dont want to drink milk. May be butter milk.

Take China 30C 4 Hourly.
If you do not have china in that case you can take.
Rhus Tox 30C one dose 4 Hourly.
Do you get test result?

Describe your problems in grade ie.

I had bed bug bites(Not mosquito). In US getting Malaria is very rare. Could it be the problem? I think you suggested China based on Malaria Symptoms, but I am sure if that is the case.

China is not suggested on the basis of malaria. Homeopathic medicine works best if taken on the basis of patient.
However, high fever with headache is really worrisome symptoms and now persistent so you should contact your primary care doctor as soon as possible.
You also did not told about your test results.
Regarding potency, I would like to start with 30C potency and sometimes it matters much.
Regarding food, you should increase your liquid intake and any bland and easily digestible foods are best.
You should also avoid journey as you are not well.
