Molluscum Contagiosum

I have a 3 year old son with molluscum contagiosum. I read that Thuja Occidentals is good for remedying this skin disease. The dermatologist has 'painted' his bumps and some are blistering and going away. I bought 30C Thuja Occidentals and the directions say to give him 5 of the pellets 3 times a day...is that too much? This is day 3 for us and I'm only doing 5 pellets twice a day right now...should I up the dosage? If anyone knows I'd appreciate some help...thanks so much.

This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.
stop with the third day. Wait for 2 weeks and report after that. Depending upon your observations, a higher potency of thuja or another appropriate remedy can be suggested.

When I posted in June I felt the same way you did! My son is almost over the molluscum bumps now. We did the thuja occidentals, tea tree oil, every homeopathic thing I could find out about. The only thing that has worked for us is seeing a dermatologist every 2 weeks and she applies cathandrin (sp?) to each bump...they blister and go away. That and he is taking a probiotic with his daily vitamins. Also, epsom salt and apple cider vinegars only for baths...if he isn't taking a bath, then he gets a shower and I use clean and clear morning burst soap on the lesions and immediately rinse off. The apple cider vinegar/epsom salt baths are the best though- they cause the lesions to come to a head. I have just recently been applying peroxide to the ones that come to a head after bath and they immediately come out. No doubt, if you want these things gone, a good dermatologists that will do the blistering agent is prob the best thing possible. no scarring involved either, plus it irritates the skin to make the immune system respond to the virus. It is not painful when applied at the office, but you wash it off after 4-6 hours. My 3-year old has been minorly uncomfortable once washed off for the next 24 hours, but he's so used to it now it's no big deal. It hasn't hindered him playing or doing his normal routine at all. I am SO HAPPY I found a dermatologist to help bc my son's MC was getting out of control. Hope any of this helps. Good luck- I know how awful this virus is...I'm pregnant and due any day so we have been very proactive to get this out of our house!

Thanks for your answer. But sometimes Homeopathic medicines need to be matched to the patient. Thats why my query.

I am going to try neem oil + tea tree oil and see what happens.

My dermatologist did not recommend any medicine except cutterage/cryo, so >>>>>
