I am 57 years of age. It was begining of 1969 when I was last in snow for about two hours. Few days after this incident, I started having dry cough for the first time. Being a traveller, I kept on seeing doctors in almost every country I visited. It was 1971 when I was hospitalized for the same reason. I could not hold my breath for even 10 seconds at that time. I have been trying doctors and their prescription on contineous basis since that time. I went for allergy tests in Canada as well in USA. I visit my family doctor in USA on regualr basis. He prescribed ADVAIR and FLONASE. It did not work but still taking to see if some thing changed (not so far). I have been to ENT in different countries. It seems to me that they can not find the problems. All they say is that I am allergic to SOMETHING. For last three / four years, it got worst during Feb, Mar and April. It just takes few seconds when I will have sneezes, running nose, cough, itchy eyes and soar throat. For last two years it has been so bad that I could not bear the itchyness and rubbed my eyes to that extent that the skin around my eyes started peeling-off.
I have gone through every test any doctor has prescribed but of NO use. Today was the day when I though of trying some thing from homeopathy and that's why I came to this forum. I can give more detils or full medical histry if it's required to find a solution to my problems. I am a non smoker and don't consume any alcohol. I keep smokers away from me. Only thing I have not done is changing the environments we live.
I would appreciate any comments. I assure you that I will not hold anyone responsible if I tried your suggestions and it did not work for me.

Spring time allergies cover a few remedies - there are two that could apply to you .
[1] Are you fair, pale complexion , had ear problems when young , dislike rich foods - prefer plain , Do not like wearing wollen garments - go lightly clad even in cold weather.
[2] Is the problem present as soon as you wake and open the eyes. Would you perhaps be a jealous person. Do you have varicose veins.Is the irritation worse in the left eye. Are you a talkative person. ?. | | |

Thanks for the comments and questions. I am from India and of dark complexion (Not Black). I eat anything allowed by my faith. As a traveller for long period, I did use woolen cloths whenever it was necessary. Now, I live in Texas where it's not required. However, I will start wearing a jacket atleast, when ever it's slight cold here.
In regards to your second question, When I wake-up in the morning, I get some irritation in my nose, leading to few loud sneezes. It's not that one particular eye has itching. It can be either of the two. I don,t know what being a jealous person has to do. I am very happy person and don't like seeing any one hurt no matter who she/he is. I do't have varicose veins. In my job as an auditor, I have to talk non-stop for hours together. This problem started long before I became an auditor. At the time reply this email, I am having trouble even drafting this email because of itchy eyes. | | |

Do you feel if your eyes stay dry and any history of putting antiallergics in the eyes? | | |

It does seem that Lachesis may help you ,
But there is also a remedy that relates to catarrh and a discharge from the eyes - worse in damp weather. This would be Natrum Sul .

Thank you all very much. When I met my physician, he said that the itchy eyes are the result of allergy. I do use VISINE eye drops whenever it's bad. I don't know if it helps or not. I have ordered NUX-V 200 C from this website. I will try and let us see. Once my allergy is in control, I don't have any problem except occasional throat irritation which again leads to clearing the throat on and off.
As I have said eralier that doctors have not been able to pinpoint the allergy problem. Do you have any way to test the reactions? I live in Houston, Texas. Do you recommend any homeopathiy doctor I should see and let him/her look into the problem? |
