Bad case of eczema

My son is 5 years old now and when he was 18 months, he received four vaccinations at the same time. A week after that he started developing food & environmental allergies.

My son is blond with blue eyes, rather calm, not much outgoing, affectionate, but gets frustracted when its not his way. He wakes up in the middle of the night almost evey night scratching especially his feet & legs, and hands, and now his upper body.

We tried using R21 ,15 drops 3 times a day with 2 tsf water for 7 days, but that didn't help, it seems as the his condition worsen. Is there something else that he can take to relief his itchiness.

Please help!

This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.
Arnica 6c in the Wet dose taken twice daily can help him. Please follow the instructions copied below precisely.

The Wet dose of any Homeopathic remedy is made as follows:

Order the remedy in a 5ml Ethanol pack also referred to as Liquid Dilution in a bottle preferably with a dropper arrangement.
Get a 500ml bottle of Spring Water from the nearest supermarket.
Pour out about 3cm of water from the bottle to leave some airspace.
Insert 3 drops of the remedy into the bottle and shake the bottle hard before you sip a capfull which is the dose.
Shaking the bottle hard is homeopathic succussion and this shaking must be done every time before sipping a capful of the bottle which can be used as a dose.

You can also apply the remedy water in the bottle directly on his lesions with your finger tips as often as possible as this accelerates the healing process. Ensure that the water in the bottle is not contaminated by any reverse flow from the fingers to the water inside.

Report response in a week.

As suggested, I am responding with the update.
When I called the pharmacy to order the Arnica 6C in wet dose, the pharmasist suggested that I just place 4 pellets of Arnica 6C in little bit of water, wait till it dissolves and give it to my son. I did gave my son a dose three times a day for 2.5 days. I see a slight improvement but he is still itching and scratching a lot. He has scabs on his feet and legs, and when he scrathes it bleeds. Should I do this differently?
Thank you for your help!

Teresa_W last decade
I should add that the last dose I gave my son was outside, so the water was expose to the sun. Does it make a matter?

Teresa_W last decade
You have already noticed that your son has responded to my therapy but only partially as you have not followed my instructions on making the Wet dose precisely.

I have evolved a slightly different system of therapy which is also referred to by some homeopaths as 'Joepathy' as it cures faster than the classical system that is commonly used.

If you wish your son to be cured please follow my instructions precisely.

I'm sorry, but I must interject here. I think that Arnica is a terrible recommendation in this case.

Eczema is psora by definition and arnica has no power to cure psora. The patient also traces their food allergies directly to vaccination, and arnica also has no power at all to cure vaccinations. None of the major authors I've looked into have listed Arnica for vaccination. I think this is a terribly irresponsible recommendation for this patient.

Please fill out this questionaire and hopefully someone will be able to help you.

Luckily a year later we began a macrobiotic diet which after four months we started to see improvement (food allergy and eczema) and he started to eat some of regular foods like fruits and cereals and bread. You have already given your son Thuja and Bacillinum. Most probably these remedies should be acting internally. As you have observed improvement after giving Arnica 6c in the wet dose, i suggest that you continue with it for another 10 days and report back. If there is no improvement by that time we will go for other remedies. You may make a wet dose by dissolving pellets in water. It doesn't matter if the remedy is exposed to sunlight.

To Teresa

Please accept my apologies for not having picked up your post as I did not get the email alert due to the ongoing upgrading of our forum.

I am glad to note that your son's Eczema improved in a week:
'A week ago, I gave him Arnica 6c in the Wet dose taken twice daily for 2.5 days. His back got better but his abdomen and legs are still in bad shape. '

Then again you stated yesterday:
'Can you please clarify on making a wet dose using pellets. Thank you so much'

I presume that you used the Arnica 6c Pellets to make the Wet dose which I am glad to note has worked in a manner that is better than all the other remedies, Thuja 30c and Bacillinum 200c in the standard dry pellets that you have given him so far. I also note that you have given him 'R 43 & R 21; 15 drops from each 3 times a day with 2 tsp of water for 7 days. His eczema got worse after taking that or maybe it was due to eating a lot of non-organic blackberries (not sure what aggravated his eczema)'

I presume that you are now content with using my Joepathy and will continue to use Arnica 6c in the Wet dose which I note you made with the dry lactose pellets. You will note however that I specified that you use the Liquid Dilution in Ethanol to make your remedy. I have done so as I have found that this liquid is far more effective than the dry pellets and you are advised to order this remedy as prescribed ASAP if you wish to heal your son. In the meanwhile you may continue to use the dry pellets as they have shown their healing power.

I am copying below my post of June 11 and hope that you will follow my therapy precisely as prescribed:

'Arnica 6c in the Wet dose taken twice daily can help him. Please follow the instructions copied below precisely.

You can also apply the remedy water in the bottle directly on his lesions with your finger tips as often as possible as this accelerates the healing process. Ensure that the water in the bottle is not contaminated by any reverse flow from the fingers to the water inside.

Report response in a week.'

Please note that you will have to use this therapy for many months in the future as at the moment your son has only started on the path to a full recovery. Please record his progress from time to time on this thread to enable me to advise you in the future.

You will give him the Wet dose twice daily and will also apply the water from the bottle directly on his lesions to ensure that he is cured soon.

I hope that you and both Kadwa and Jewish Homeopath who have also prescribed in this case will now realize the great healing value of the WET DOSE that I prescribe exclusively today which cannot be equalled by using the dry pellets which I too used up to 2005 when I was converted to this method by Dr Luc de Schepper who was here in Sri Lanka to help the survivors of the Tsunami.

You may like to know that I coined this term WET DOSE when Dr Luc informed me that there was no term to describe this method although the SPLIT dose was mentioned in the Organon. I am happy to note that this term has now found universal acceptance and is also listed on Google.

I would also like to record here that this Arnica therapy I prescribed was another of my 'Discoveries' as it is not listed in this precise manner in all the Repertories and MM's used today in Classical Homeopathy.

I am happy to add this curative protocol for Eczema to the long list of my own discoveries in Homeopathy which another (pseudo) classical homeopath labelled 'JOEPATHY.'

To Kadwa

I have found that the standard lactose pellets do not work as effectively as the Liquid Dilution in Ethanol of any Homeopathic remedy when used to make the Wet dose.

I believe that the reason why a Wet dose made with pellets is not as effective is because the 3 drops I prescribe of the Liquid Dilution is far more 'concentrated' when mixed into the spring water in comparison to the pellets which have already been activated with the Liquid Dilution in Ethanol by the manufacturers.

In this case Theresa has confirmed that she had observed positive results in just 2 days from the Arnica 6c she used to make the Wet dose and I advised her to order the Liquid Dilution ASAP and use the dry lactose pellets in the meanwhile as copied below from my last post:

'I presume that you are now content with using my Joepathy and will continue to use Arnica 6c in the Wet dose which I note you made with the dry lactose pellets. I hope that Theresa will follow my advice.

This is the nineth day of giving my son arnica 6C in wet dose and I don't see much more improvement than I did before. I am also applying a bacteroban cream prescribed by an MD to prevent infection, but his skin is still inflammed in few patches. I also noticed that his rash spread little bit on his soles and toes. At this point I don't know if I should continue using arnica or try something else.
Please help!

Please give him Phosphorus 30c thrice a day for 2 days and report back after 15 days.

One dose means
If the medicine is in pills form 2 pills. Don't touch pills with hand. Use cap of bottle to take pills.
If the medicine is in liquid dilution form, 1 drop in some 10 ml water. Sip up slowly.

Please follow homeo restrictions like no coffee, no raw onion/garlic, no strong perfumes, don't eat or drink anything within 15 minutes before or after taking medicine.

Your Son is in great hands.

You do need some patience as skin issues tends to heal slow & gradually.

Good Health to your little young guy.

It's been a week today since I gave my son Phosphorus 30c thrice a day for 2 days. His skin has improved and he is not as much itching and scratching. At the same time I was giving my son Aloe Vera juice and was applying aloe vera plant's gel to his skin for 5 days. I'm not sure which one helped, but he is making improvement so I appreciate everyone's input and help in this case, and wait for further instructions.
Thank you!

Please give him Phos 30c thrice a day for only one day (not daily) if his symptoms worsen and see how that affects in the next 10 days. There is no need to give Phos 30 if there is no worsening of his symptoms. You may continue to apply Aloe Vera gel.

Just wanted to mention that my son's skin started to get worse so I gave him Phos 30 again. I see an improvement, his skin is not as red as it used to be and it is healing but at the same time he developed rashes behind his kneecaps but he is still itching every day and night, not as much though as he used to.

Thank you for your help!

You may also consider giving him Phosphorus 200 if you see that Phos 30 is no more working effectively.

Just wanted to report on my son's condition. Because he was still itching I gave him Phosporus 200 over a week ago. There might be slight improvement with the itch, although his skin is still an open sore because of the scratching, and it seems like the rash spread more over his legs. Please advice.

Thank you!

Two classical homeopathy have recommended many remedies all of which have only served to make your son's Eczema much worse.

The remedy I prescribed on June 11 was Arnica 6c in the Wet dose made with 3 drops of the Liquid Dilution and not the pellets you used. You now report after almost 3 months later that his Eczema is still causing you serious concern.

I believe that the reason why you did not get instant results was because you used the pellets of Arnica recommended by Kadwa and not the Liquid Dilution I stipulated to make the remedy I prescribed which I shall copy again below:

This remedy must be used twice daily and also applied on the skin directly on the lesions.

The Jewish Homeopath condemned my therapy rudely as follows on June 22:

'Re: Bad case of eczema
From Jewish Homeopath on 2010-06-22
I'm sorry, but I must interject here.

I consider that this statement is a lot of pompous, errant, RUBBISH. The Jew may be a qualified homeopath but he lacks HUMILITY and it is no wonder that the remedies he prescribed only served to aggravate your son's Eczema.
And that is after you patiently answered 23 questions the majority of which were irrelevant like the 23rd question which reads:
23. Describe, how do you look like? Describe your overall appearance
5 year old, male, big blue eyes and blond hair, moderate to heavy constitution

We are trying to cure your son's Eczema and not to enter him to a beauty contest.

Kadwa stated as follows:

'Re: Bad case of eczema
From kadwa on 2010-06-23

I have openly declared on this and other Homeopathic Forums that I do not subscribe slavishly to the Classical Homeopathic Theories which the above mentioned homeopaths use with questionable results. I use Radar which is the world's best and most expensive homeopathic software which is used by classical homeopaths when necessary but I use my judgement in using the remedies it prescribes when I use my own judgement in prescribing the remedy to help the patient.

I do not state Dogmatically that the Arnica 6c I prescribed WILL cure your son. All I request is that you give it a reasonable chance to do so as I have cured many hundreds of patients suffering from Eczema one of whom is now 96 year of age and suffered from Eczema for 85 years and was cured by me about 10 years ago.

I have returned to this thread again as I am concerned that your son who is only 5 years old is not being given a chance to let his Eczema get cured due to the interference from these two classical homeopaths who have never used Arnica to cure Eczema in the manner that I have done with my 'Joepathy'.

Joe De Livera last decade
To Joe De Livera:

I order the Arnica 6C remedy in liquid dilution and followed your recommendations, but I saw little of improvement.

Thank you for your concern, recommendations, and the desire to help my son.

Teresa_W last decade
How many days did you give the Arnica to him and did you apply it directly on his lesions as prescribed?

You stated in one of your first posts that:
'I see a slight improvement but he is still itching and scratching a lot.'
'A week ago, I gave him Arnica 6c in the Wet dose taken twice daily for 2.5 days. His back got better but his abdomen and legs are still in bad shape. '

It seems to me that his Eczema is responding to the Arnica therapy but that there is something that is preventing his progress towards a cure.

I cannot identify this factor and it is up to you to do so if you wish your son to be cured.

Suggest you make a fresh bottle of the remedy in the Wet dose and try again. I would recommend the direct application of the remedy water as often as possible on his lesions but do not use the remedy in a wet bandage for convenience as this can be counterproductive.
