Tips for reading my book… As initial part of second chapter has some scientific concepts laying scientific foundation to homeopathy, so go patiently on that part, as a few readers may find it slightly difficult... After this initial part there begins new discoveries in homeopathy and scientific terms are no more involved by and large, paying no difficulty to readers from here on... More so from here most of readers will start feeling real awe, shock, magic and surprise, so be patient till this part initially... Sixth chapter is slightly difficult in reading again so be patient here too... Thereafter things are quite reader friendly again... Readers who want to read only my autobiography, should begin from first chapter and then can jump straightway to my autobiographical account in seventh, eighth and ninth chapters... There is no logic to the suggestion, and it is counter to the experience of homoeopaths all over the world and throughout history, to attempt to treat symptoms that do not yet exist. You cannot treat a disease that has not yet appeared. More than one disease does not exist at the same time, you will only have the current one that can be treated. You cannot match symptoms for something that does not yet exist. You cannot predict what symptom picture will arise next, out of the over 5000 different pictures we currently have. You cannot see what is invisible - it is not invisible, it does not exist. Those people that claim to see what is not is there, are fooling themselves and certainly do not have any real experience with the process of healing and disease. Human health does not follow predetermined pathways. Any remedy can follow any other remedy, as experience over the last 200 years shows us. One of the mistakes I felt ws evident in your book is built on a misunderstanding of complementary remedies. Complementary relationships are between partial similars, where the whole case cannot be understood by the practitioner to find the Simillimum. This does not show any truth about how disease works (that there are multiple states, that there is more than one remedy needed at a time etc), but shows a distinct lack of skill on the part of the practitioner. As the great Dr. Kent said, a less skilled physician will require several remedies, where a true master will only require one. To build a whole theory from a flawed method of prescribing is very risky. In understanding that the method of partial similars is actually an imperfect search for the simillimum, you can see that the theory that you can give all the remedies the person might ever need, is also flawed. There is one very obvious practical problem that arises from such a theoretical treatment system - complementary remedies are complementary because of their similarity to each other. If you give them together, they are likely to antidote (neutralise) each other. This can happen even when they are simply given one after another, and any complementary is also an antidote. Another issue that arises from this theory, is the observation in clinic that any remedy given can change the case in unexpected ways. This may be because the medicine was not even partially similar but incorrect, causing an intensification of the disease and creating a much more complete (and unexpected) picture to appear. Also, partial similars are just as likely to suppress the disease, resulting in new symptoms appearing in new locations, once again creating an entirely new picture. Following one medicine with other when a new group of symptoms appear is well-accepted practice in Homeopathy, and was given by Hahnemann himself in aphorisms 272 to 274, wherein he says to give one remedy at one time, and then follow with others if required when completely new set of symptoms appear… Appearing of new set of symptoms again, very easily tells that symptoms came from within patient, and not from outside… I’ve just tried to give valid things to give them together, and a simple reading into a very small section 2.1.8.2 of my book can tell anybody that what I mean and how you are trying to give a distorted picture… As Homeopathy went after times of Hahnemann, someone gave a concept of constitutional medicine, and told that one medicine can cure a patient in totality… A caravan of sheeps followed this concept and took it grave proportions which haunts homeopathy till now and is potent killer of homeopathy itself… NOWHERE DID HAHNEMANN MENTION AND TALK ABOUT CONCEPT OF CONSTITUTIONAL MEDICINE AND THAT’S WHY HE EVEN GAVE THE APHORISM OF FOLLOWING ONE MEDICINE WITH OTHERS… A VERY SIMPLE THINKING THAT CONCEPT OF CONSTITUTIONAL WOULD MEAN THAT MAN IS MADE OF ONE MEDICINE, IS ENOUGH TO KICK IT OUT… And one has all strange and well sounding logics of partial similimums and what not to frame one’s arguments against those saying anything against it… Patients keep running to one and then other and then other homeopaths again and again in hope of finding constitutional medicine or one medicine for all their problems, and they only get in return nothing… If this concept would have been so right, then at least one homeopath would have helped them to find it… Though why concept of constitutional medicine appears right at times, can also be very understood by anyone by a simple small section 2.1.8.1 in my book… Yes this concept works, but not everytime, and is subject to certain conditions… More so, thus giving it a name of constitutional medicine, or taking it to levels of doing same for all and finding one medicine for everyone for all his problems is utterly wrong… This section 2.1.8.1 is there in free sample of kindle too, so not at all difficult to read for anyone… What I also feel from your comments, Dr Brisbane Homeopath, is that you have not read my work at all barring some sentences in beginning, and then have made a mountain out of your own thoughts and notions on as to what could be there in it next… You seem to have not read any concept of Supporting Layers, Basic Layer, Cap Layer and so on… Also I don’t know from where you got concept of giving a person all remedies he might need ever… Omg… I’ve properly written to find deteriorated layers and give them… If one then one, if two then two, if four then four… Though yes, if a case comes with all of his layers deteriorated, means fighting with life so much so that all layers have deteriorated and one can find all and give, in say six months to year, then this really is remarkable… What probably is first coming as hindrance unto you for reading my work is first again harping of one medicine, one medicine, one medicine, and feeling everything against it as intrusion to homeopathy, and second your seniority wherein you feel why to read what a young fellow wrote… Varun http://eyevarun.blogspot.com [message edited by varun gupta on Wed, 11 Apr 2012 14:32:17 BST]

Yes I am not disputing the use of a new medicine when a new set of symptoms appears - this is just the basic principle of homoeopathy. I am disputing the use of a new medicine when NO symptoms have appeared to warrant it. I admit I did not read the whole book. I read quite alot of it though, and I actually spoke about how complex your theories are in another post. I felt they were unnecessarily complex explainations for how homoeopathy works but perhaps they were just beyond me. There were many things I could understand though, and your theory of multiple remedy prescriptions is easy enough to follow. I am not trying to distort anything, I am assessing your theories from the point of view of an experienced homoeopath with 20 years of clinical practice. I won't even dare to argue with the complicated physics you present in the book, but with the applications of homoeopathic medicines - that I feel somewhat qualified to discuss. None of this is a comment on you personally but just on your work. Hahnemann never talked about one remedy curing a patient totally indeed, he spoke of ONE medicine at a time, that there was only ever one totality at one time in a patient. But the totality can, will and SHOULD change upon administering the remedy that suits it. What it changes into, well that is always the surprise as treatment progresses. Constitutional is simply one way of looking at cases. It is not a necessary component to classical or traditional homoeopathy. We talk of the Simillimum, and when we also talk of chronic disease we talk of miasm and the long term state a patient has been in before arriving at our doorstep. The simillimum must suit the miasm, it must suit the chronic state, when there is a chronic state to be treated, and chronic has lasted for a long time. Whether it has lasted a lifetime or not will decide how much information you use to find that remedy. The use of the word 'constitution' was only ever meant to respresent a state that had been present a long time in a patient, one that had altered the way their body and mind and grown. So again, I agree that the term 'constitutional' has certainly been misunderstood both inside and outside of homoeopathy. The idea of a single remedy for life, is a distortion that has not come from homoeopaths, and in fact no classical homoeopath I have ever met talks about this. We all know the truth of it from practical experience - most patients need more than one remedy to achieve full cure. Some of course do not, some patients do actually show the need for one remedy only. One must be flexible and observant of the case before you, and adapt to it. I think that one constitutional medicine for life is a misunderstanding that has come from patients and other professionals who do not understand homoeopathy very well, who see a homoeopath and do not understand what they are doing questioning them about childhood, or talking about their father's death or the first job they ever had. These reports will filter out into the community like chinese whispers, become more and more unreasonable and more distant from the truth. I have taught students in a homoeopathic college, and the majority of them come to study with this mistaken idea. It is a perception of homoeopathy that is not held by the majority of homoeopaths. Nobody needs to 'cure' us of this delusion, nobody has to 'sort us out'. Homoeopaths don't believe it. I believe that your experience with actual homoeopaths is limited, it seems you are using rumor to fuel your research. You say things like 'people run from one homoeopath to another' and 'if the concept was right at least one homoeopath would have helped them'. These aren't the statements of someone who has researched - this is someone listening to those same chinese whispers! Homoeopathy is not so popular because people were not being cured, but because they are being cured. I was cured by a prescriber who practiced this way, as were many of the students I studied with, and the students who came to study under me. Have you sat in the clinic of some of the modern masters - or in the clinic of any competent classical homoeopath, or for that matter the clinics of the other kinds of homoeopaths? You certainly haven't seen how mine works, because I give single remedies all the time that produce cure, on all levels, even in pathologies. And my experience shows me that after a time, many of those people need a new remedy, based on the symptoms they begin to display. If you have given a deep acting remedy on the basis of their state, their history, their disease, then whatever comes next is easier and less serious than what was cured by the simillimum you chose. I also find the need to use partial similars at times, because I simply do not know the remedy they actually need, or because I cannot see it properly. What often happens is that if the partial similar quietens down part of the case, it will allow another part to become louder (not appear out of nowhere), and this often leads me to the simillimum they should have received in the first place. So I will say again, there is no reason for you to argue against one remedy for life. We already know that is not true. One remedy for all the current problems - that is definitely true. How far back that remedy will stretch to heal, well that depends on a lot of things. I have many cases where patients received a remedy that cured childhood complaints which were still present. I have had patients that required a new remedy as those old childhood complaints resurfaced. So one remedy for life - this is an illusion created for us, but not by us. You are right, it is false. It's non-existance doesn't disprove traditional homoeopathy, because it was never a part of it. It has become part of the pseudohomoeopathy I see alot of, that in fact Hahnemann saw appear as soon as he revealed his system of the medicine. What is strange here is to see you disproving a pseudohomoeopathy concept, then using it to justify another kind of psuedohomoeopathy. A strange logic indeed. My comment about all remedies a person might need, is an extension of the logic you were using. Prescribing medicines for states that you cannot yet see, based on complementary relationships between remedies, allows the idea you can go further. I was showing the absurdity of it by expanding that idea to its natural conclusion, which I see even you find ridiculous (so far).

Good to know someone at least calling method of one medicine as pseudohomeopathy… Many, and of course really many among homeopaths are only the ones to call it real homeopathy than pseudohomeopathy, and even stand for it with all their ammunitions… So blame them and not me… I recently asked a homeopath, “What you do when after giving first dose to patient, in a month or two new symptoms appear”? “I repeat the dose”, came the answer. I asked, “I’m asking for case when new set of symptoms appear, and not the same ones.” “I work on method of one medicine for one patient”, was abrupt and quick answer in anger along with closing of discussion, thinking the question as baseless. Anyhow, question now is whether to give just one medicine at a time, or as I say to give together too… Hmmm… Well I know many arguments against it will come as usual… So its ohkkk… We give one medicine, another set of symptoms become louder as you said, and then we give that remedy… I say to understand this in advance wherever possible, and pick up leads in even lesser visible symptoms, than to only wait till they become louder, and give those two or more remedies together wherever possible… Method simply to premept before “completely” new set of symptoms appear as I said… So I didn’t say to work on unseen and give remedies for unseen, rather to work on leeds of something even lesser visible at that time, on basis of sound principles… As I said you haven’t read my book yet, and you too have already admitted it… Had you read it then you wouldn’t have got this confusion at least… For example, in case presented in section 2.1.8.2, we have symptoms of Lycopodium and personality of Lachesis… So either you give Lycopodium first and wait to get some symptoms of Lachesis for calling them louder as you said, apart from just in personality and then give it, or you give Lachesis first on personality and see symptoms of Lycopodium getting even worse and then give it on currently used theories of giving on therapeutic basis… Or of course be right and choose right way to give them together right then… Of course you’ll say medicines will clash with each other and won’t act… Though will they really clash… Answers can easily be seen in my work… Again to also answer how to prempt, like in supporting layers things I’ve laid down, when we see Allium Cepa and Arundo Mauritanica symotoms, then better also add Naphthalinum right then, in potencies as suggested, even if you are not able to see Naphthalinum’s symptoms right then… Naphthalinum will be present in deteriorated form for sure for things explained very clearly… Or of course as you say, give two first one by one, and then wait to become third’s symptoms become louder and then give it… So as I said, had you read my work, you hadn’t had such confusions… More so I’ve clearly stated that method of following one medicine with other will only yield good results at the most for three to four remedies, and won’t cure patients in case more layers are deteriorated. Reasons for it are also given quite clearly. Even for patients requiring four medicines, complete cure can only be established if remedies are given together at least once after finding all one by one, even if one finds them one by one in some time. If we’ll give them followed by other, then though patient might get good, but it won’t be hundred per cent cure. Reasons for it again get clear very early itself in section 2.1.8.2. Patients not getting well despite being in touch with good homeopaths even points to this. Regarding you feeling my explanations on working of homeopathy complex, then any new things at times seems somewhat complex initially, so I can understand.
