severe pms/pmdd

good day,

i'm a 32 year old female, married, mother of 2, and i suffer from severe pms/pmdd. i get depressed, very irritable, anxious, etc. it lasts for about a week until i get my period, after which it gets better. i also suffer from insomnia, and anxiety (although on a lesser scale) all the time.

here is some background information. please let me know if you need anything additional

1. describe your main suffering? pms/pmdd, anxiety, irritability, insomnia, fatigue


2. what other physical sufferings do you have in your body?
long periods, bad cramps, stomach problem, back problems, headaches (when in the sun for too long)

3. what mental sufferings / feelings do you have associated with your physical sufferings?
irritavility and over sensitivitywith pms

4. what exactly do you feel when you are at your worst?
overwhelmed, losing control, want to burst into tears

5. when did it all start? can you connect it to any past event or disease?
started in college, although have always had the irritability and bad cramps with the pms

6. which time of the day you are worst?
afternoon

7. what are the things which aggravate your suffering and which are those which ameliorate the same?
- stress aggrevates my suffering /
- alone time or a break from my daily routine alleviates my sufferings

8. do your think your sufferings have relation to any external stimuli (like, change of place) or any internal biological changes in the body, like, menses (in females)?
for the pms- my period

9. when do you feel better, during hot weather or cold weather, humid or dry weather?
feel best in hot dry weather.

10. describe your general mental set up? are you moody, arrogant, mild, agreeable changeable, nervous, suspicious, easily offended, quiet, arguing, irritating, lazy etc.

i am generally mild and agreeable. i do tend to worry or have some anxiety, and can be easily offended,. i am moody when i pms

- how do you feel before or during a thunderstorm? doesn't bother me
- do you like being consoled during your tough times? sometimes. i generally like some alone time to work through my feelings but there are moments where i appreciate some consolation
- are you sensitive to external stimuli like smell, noise, light etc? yes
- do you have any typical habit or gesture like nail biting, causeless
weeping, talking to one self etc? weeping when overwhelmed
- how do you feel about your friends, family, your children and especially your husband / wife? love my friends and family. my children are my loves, but they are also very high maintenance. lots of work. my oldest son has mild autism and adhd so he is full of energy. my youngest is 9 months. generally jovial but sometimes very needy and clingy. love my husband but he works long hours so i tend to feel alone sometimes, and that the burden of everything with the children is on me.


11. what are your fears and do you dream of any situation repeatedly?
fear of hardship and turmoil, uncertainty

12. what do you crave for in food items and what are your aversions?
crave sweets and salty foods, like chips. also crave spicey food. dislike bitter or sour foods.

13. how is your thirst: less, normal or excessive?
normal, sometimes less than normal. except when nursing, then its excessive

14. how if your hunger: less, normal or excessive?
normal, sometimes excessive

15. is there any kind of food which your body can’t stand?
too much caffiene

16. is your sweat normal or less or more? where does it sweat more: head, trunk or limbs?
normal, mostly trunk

17. how is your bowel movement and stool type?
normal consistency, sometimes loose / frequent (particularly after i got my gall bladder removed)

18. how well do you sleep? do you have a particular posture of sleeping?
have insomnia. have no problems getting to sleeep but tend to wake up in the middle of the night and have trouble getting back to sleep. generally sleep on my side


19. do you think you are able to satisfy your sexual desires in general?
yes

20. what peculiar or strange sensation do you have in any part of your body at times? do you sometimes feel ‘ as if…..’ in some part of the body?
none

21. what medications have been taken earlier by you to treat the diseases and do you have any particular symptom surfacing after the medication?

none

22. what major diseases are running in your family?
diabetes, high blood pressure in parents & cancer in aunt and grandmother

23. describe, how do you look like? describe your overall appearance.
5'2'; brown eyes, dark hair, curvy build (pear shaped i guess) petite, regular nose, smallish mouth, round face, light tan/olive compextion,


24. (only for females)

if you are not having normal menstrual cycles, please answer the following questions:

- are the periods early, regular or late in general? regular
how long do they last? 7+ days
- do you suffer from any kind of physical or mental discomfort before, during or after the periods? pms/emotional
- is the flow scanty, normal or excessive? normal-excessive
- is the blood thick bright red or pale watery? thick & bright
- do you notice any clots in the flow? yes

This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.
Please take Calcarea Carb 200c thrice a day at a gap of 4 hours for only one day (not daily) and report back after 15 days.

One dose means
If the medicine is in pills form 4 pills. Don't touch pills with hand. Use cap of bottle to take pills.
If the medicine is in liquid dilution form, 3-4 drops in some 20 ml water. Sip up slowly.

Please follow homeo restrictions like no coffee, no raw onion/garlic, no strong perfumes, don't eat or drink anything within 30 minutes before or after taking medicine.
