lump in the thigh

Hi ,

My dad is aged 57, and has sugar, He is feeling heavy pain in the thigh area from the past two three days. He says he feels like a lump and its so hard. Not only that his lower part, backside-jst near the butt region, is also paining a lot.

He feels this especially during night time. what to do for this? Please help me. If you have any questions related to this, please doctors, you can please ask me.

This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.
What is his blood sugar before meals and after meals. In diabetes cysts and boils should be taken very seriously as there are chances of these things developing as gangrene.

He never had such a feeling before.

His blood sugar level are as below:

before meals : below 100 [usually 80 or 90]

after meals : yesterday it was 231.
