Dementia
in 2007 my then 84 year old grandmother had a stroke. she was recovering and put on medication that made her very ill with Diarreah and vomiting, that resulted in a sodium imbalance that caused brain damage.she was mildy affected but was put on medication that made her ability to speak, think and do things worse. in 2008 she had a reaction to that medication. and was put on another type of medication.
she now is on 2 medications. yesterday she was aggitated beyond help of medication and maxed out her allowed dose.
we would like to see her off medication all together. She also is on eye drops for cataracts and glaucoma. but it's the dementia and muscle weakness that is affecting her the most.
we have the 12 cell salts and would like to have her start on them as soon as possible.
Do you know what ones she should start with... they are hylands cell salts in the 6x.

Please give her Baryta Carb 30c thrice a day for a week and see how that affects her.
One dose means
If the medicine is in pills form 4 pills. Don't touch pills with hand. Use cap of bottle to take pills.
If the medicine is in liquid dilution form, 3-4 drops in some 20 ml water. Sip up slowly.
Please follow homeo restrictions like no coffee, no raw onion/garlic, no strong perfumes, don't eat or drink anything within 30 minutes before or after taking medicine.

My aunt is wondering if the Baryta Carb 30c will work against the anti phsycotic medication my grandmother is on? she can't just stop the medication and go on homeopathy. she will have to be weaned off.. do you have any suggestions for that?

If the Baryta Carb does not work....try Picric Acid 6c.
three times a day...gradually reduce as she becomes better.
It is specific for senile (old age ) dementia..brain fag, loss of control of muscles , spinal weakness etc.

Would like to clarify...Baryta Carb and Picric Acid are both for senile dementia.
They will give some benefit ..even if she is continuing with allopathic meds.
At this stage not advisable to stop allopathic meds...by stopping allopathic meds the fear factor begins to build up...which by itself is detrimental to the health of the patient.
