Weight loss, smoking, alcohol... help!

I figure Sameer will chime in here since he's been so wonderful with our progress on Ryan. I am open to anyone who would like to reply.

I'll be turning 41 this year and while still active, I'm having several issues! I was able to quit smoking last year for almost 3 months. Now, when I even think about it, I start chainsmoking like crazy. You'd think being a private nurse for a terminal patient with a double masectomy and active tumors, and stroke due to smoking would help. I MUST quit smoking!!! (we smoke outside btw, not around the kids).

Also, I have managed to hit 125 lbs on my small 5'1 frame and I can't get the weight to budge. Previously I could lose weight rapidly when needed. I should be around 115, and several friends have asked if I'm pregnant :(

In order to lose the weight and quit smoking, I know I have to stop drinking as well, but I have no will power when it comes to my nightly ritual of a cocktail or two as the house begins to quiet down. 3 kids, both my husband and I are in college, stress levels can be through the roof some days... I'm going to miss my cocktails, but that has to go too.

I've been eating better, excersising more, and yet my weight is climbing! Help!!!

Menses since having the 4th baby 1.5 yrs ago have been steady as far as timing goes, but painful every 3 months, along with severe pms both before and 1 week after. Anxiety has been an issue also for the first time in my life.

Seems like 40 has been a turning point for my system, and I don't know how to get myself back on track....

Next year is going to be a huge transition for all of us as I return to school full time, while holding down a full time job. Help!!!

I cannot provide evidence from patients who have also quit drinking as they have not obliged by confirming their present status on the Homeopathic Forums I visit. I can confirm however that I have had 2 ALCOHOLICS and many who are addicted to a regular drink of Alcohol daily who have been able to QUIT drinking.

The Remedy I have prescribed for both Smoking and Drinking is Arnica 30c in the Wet dose taken twice daily. Arnica seems to dull the urge for that next smoke and has also succeeded in enabling many to QUIT drinking alcohol.

I am glad to note that you have admitted that you have a problem with both Smoking and Drinking and as a RN I do not have to lecture you on the need for abstaining from both these habits if you wish to survive for a normal life span. I note that you have kids and they are all the more reason why you must decide immediately to help yourself.

Weight reduction is relatively easy in comparison to quitting smoking and drinking and as long as you do not use any drugs the chances are good that you will notice that you have shed your weight by about 1kg weekly.

Your prescription is as follows:

Smoking and Drinking
Arnica 30c in the Wet dose taken thrice daily for a fortnight and twice daily therafter.

Obesity
Nat Phos 6x Dose 2 tablets taken immediately after each of 3 meals.

The Wet dose of any Homeopathic remedy is made as follows:

Order the remedy in a 5ml Ethanol pack also referred to as Liquid Dilution in a bottle with a dropper arrangement.
Get a 500ml bottle of Spring Water from the nearest supermarket.
Pour out about 3cm of water from the bottle to leave some airspace.
Insert 3 drops of the remedy into the bottle and shake the bottle hard before you take a capfull which is the dose. Shaking the bottle hard is homeopathic succussion and this shaking must be done every time before a capful of the bottle is sipped as directed.

I would like to share with you something that has helped me tremendously -> T-TAPP!

I am a mom 42 years with 3 children, and even without having to go to college or a job, I get stressed out and more so when kids get sick.
T-TApp has helped me manage my weight, and feel good. I feel younger now than when I was a 35-year old when I did not know about T-Tapp. And yes, I am 5' 1', and 125 pounds as well.
