Ill family
Good morning and thank you in advance. I have two children and both parents who have become very ill. symptoms are/were:1. child 1, age 5yrs 6mths, weight 36 lbs, blond hair, fair skin, hazel eyes. developed a cough Jan 26th 2010, Three consecutive coughs, dry, croupy sounding.
Fever came one, extreme heat from body, could not touch.
gave Bell 6X, some relief, for a day, gave Bell 30X, some relief 30minutes only
Gave Bell 30C no relief, returned to 6X some relief.
2 Child 2, two days after child one, developed cough, 2 days later, fever, very high.
Both children had the three coughs, extremely high fever, developed ear ache right first then left, homeopathic ear drops solved, 1 time use.
Then developed eye symptoms, finally I took them to allopathic... child one was improved so nothing was done to her, child two was said to have an ear infection, I questioned, then it was said ear was just red, since no pain do nothing. Child two just started eyes being crusted and had greenish pus at inner canthi both eyes, I said it came on after the extreme high fever, it looked the same color as the mucus from the nose, The Dr. said it was pink eye, gave an anti-biotic ointment.
Child 1 eyes cleared up on their own after 2 days of pus, child 2's eys after 5 days with ointment. Both children still coughing enormously.
I gave puls 30c to help with eyes. Fevers still come and go.
3. Parents, Father, sore throat, as if swallowed a porcupine backwards. ear pain, first right then left. Severe. pain only when swallowing, glands swollen. took phytolaca 30c with minimal relief, throat red, back behind uvula, size of a dime, white ulcer looking. lasted 2 days, ulcer went away nit-ac. throat pain not. fathers temp, 96.3, highest 97.1 throat is always worse at night.
4. Mother, developed cough, much mucus in nose with pain at root, burning, eyes as if sand in them, skin turned yellowish after she ate a ton of garlic.
Now, after 3 weeks, child 1, pale, lower eye lids red, thin, appetite poor, thirst normal. But now has the throat symptoms of father.
Child 2, Throat sever, white ulcers on tonsils, and glands swollen, very pale, lethargic, total throat inflammed, red and shiny,lower eye lids red, and blueish skin under both eyes. Poor appetite, thirst normal.
Father, throat pain still same, worse at night, constantly cold, must sleep on heating pad to get warm.
Mother, cough improved, worse at night, pale skin. Tiredness amongst everyone.
We have mostly used Bell but I am not certain this is correct, and I am so very tired myself I find it difficult to find the right remedy. Can anyone help?

Sorry, lets see, I will start with Child 1.
Ashley, age 5yrs 6mths, weight 36lbs, blond hair, blue eyes. For about a month and a half she has had head congestion. When she sneezes, large copious mucus shoots from her nose. Three weeks ago, she developed a cough, 3 consecutive coughs at a time. dry sounding, croupy sounding. The air passages sounded dry. She developed a fever after the cough. The first signs were noticed when I put my hand on her back, and I could feel the heat radiate through her clothes. No chill, just dry heat. On the 27th of Jan. she woke me at 3AM and she was burning up. Her whole body produced so much heat. She had nausea and a sever cough at this time.
The coloration of the mucus from her nose was clear with white streaks.
After several hours, she finally vomited clear fluid, then she slept. I gave Bell 30x and this reduced the heat radiating from her body. In the beginning, the fever was 101.8 and went as high as 105.3. The fevers would come more frequent so I then gave her Bell 30c, this had no effect, I then gave Bell 6x and saw improvement rapidly. But it would last at max 30 minutes to an hour.
Eventually she developed an ear ache, Right ear first at 2PM, Then Left at 4PM. I gave a homeopathic ear drop that stopped the pain completely within 5 minutes. I never had to repeat.
She then sneezed out a large glob of bloody mucus (like a blood clot) from both nostrils. Had a nose bleed that lasted less than a minute.
In the mean time she then developed a greenish discharge from both eyes, inner canthi. Didn't like light, any light would cause her to scream 'turn off the light' I then gave puls 30c, her eyes seemed to clear up completely within 2 days, but the cough, worsened, it never improved only got worse.
There were a few complaints, she would say my heart is trying to come out of my chest, or my heart hurts. Then it was that her stomach was pinching.
I went back to Bell 6x and 30C (do one until it didn't work, then return to the other, switching only when they quit working.)
There has been hardly any appetite, it actually has only returned the last couple of days. She has craved Lemonade, which I have given. She also craves chocolate, anything chocolate. But that makes her so cranky.
Finally, today is first day back to school in three weeks. But she is very pale, the lower lids of her eyes are red, she is very tired. Also, when she cries, wherever the tears touch, turns red. Oh yes, and she has ulcers on inner cheeks, first was left, then Right, I gave nit-ac, which seems to have made them dissipate. tongue is coated towards the back a brownish cream color.

Child 2 (Samuel) Age 8yrs 3mths. Blond hair blue eyes, slim. Samuel developed a cough exactly like his sister 2 days after hers began, dry, croupy sounding, 3 consecutive coughs then a break. His fever, which was extremely high came on at about the fourth day, then he became lethargic, slept, only to be awakened by the cough. Extremely high fever, heat radiated from his body. Bell 6x lowered at first, then not at all, 30x and 30c had the same reaction, brief if at all. We took Samuel to allopathic when I was to ill to maintain, this is the diagnosis,
1. ear infection, right ear
No pain
2. Pink eye
(same as Ashley, except when the allopath saw Samuel, Samuel's had just developed.)

His throat internally is very red, extremely inflammed with swellings of little glands all around his throat. The tonsils are covered with white spots. Throat is shiny red, with what appears to be a lot of saliva.
His teeth also hurt, and he has ulcers that appear on the upper and lower gum lines.
Nit-ac seemed to help with the ulcers.
Eyes are glassy, the whites are white. not pink or blood shot.
the lower lids this morning are red line, same as Ashley.
Tongue coated a brownish cream color towards the back.
Cough is as bad as ever, at times I think he is going to suffocate just trying to get a cough started. He stops breathing, opens mouth, and face turns beet red, and finally the cough comes out forcibly. and it is rough and dry. When he sleeps there appears to be some sound as if everything were dry. I also noticed a blueish discoloration under both eyes this morning. His symptoms are worse evening and night. better daytime.

For me, I developed a sore throat two days after Ashley became sick, it hurt to swallow, the pain extended to both ears. Within a short time it felt as though I had swallowed a porcupine backwards. I dreaded swallowing anything. I tried phytolaca 30c nothing happened. My throat was dark red. I used lozengers, but they burned so bad I couldn't stand it. I gargled with salt water, didn't help, warm drinks didn't hurt more but didn't improve problem, cold fruit drinks soothed a little, water agitated. The ear ache drops eased my ear pain, I had what felt like sand in my eyes, they teared up easily. had small amounts of pus in inner canthi. It cleared up after two days, had fever, couldn't get warm. I took my temp 5 times with different thermometers thinking they were broke, 96.1, 96.3, 96, 96.3,96.7 and finally after moving around a great deal looking for another thermometer, I got up to 97.1. But my skin felt hot, especially my head. Feet ice cold. After a week, I noticed a spot the size of a dime behind the uvula at the back of the throat that was white. I then took nit-ac, and the spot went away. The pain did not. But the pain seems to start about 2:30PM and last all night, no matter what I try. I am just developing a cough, dry. short. my ears ache, not as bad as before, but ache just the same. This morning, I finally raised some mucus from my chest, very small mucus, clear with blood streak in it. My ears also feel as though their is something crawling in them, and hurt more when I swallow, and they crack when I swallow.
I know you wanted each person on its own, but I forgot, all of us have this same symptom, the drainage from the post nares burns our throats, and all mucus from blowing our nose is yellow and or yellow/green currently.
tongue is coated a brownish cream color to the back also.
Apis is the main remedy I took for my throat once the ulcer disappeared. It is the one that helped the most, lasted about 15 to 30 minutes of relief.
Oh, and most of the time when I lay on the heating pad and I finally feel warm, my throat pain goes away.

My wife, She developed a croupy cough about 1.5 weeks ago. Accompanied with fever with chill. Pain at root of nose, eyes as if sand in them, the whites of her eyes are yellow, and her skin turned yellowish after she ate a ton of garlic trying to not get this illness. She said there is a pressure behind her eye ball, and they are red. She says her throat feels as if a plug in it. below larynx.

She has just a little stuffy nose left, pale face, tonsils inflamed w/white spots on both tonsils. Uvula looks normal. back of throat is red, shiny red. She actually slept well last night, first time in several months. She is only complaining (in the evening) of her sore throat. It hurts to swallow. I did notice last night before she went to bed that her abdomen looked larger than normal. As though she was full of gas. I listened, could hear some gurgling and movement in intestines. However, there were no complaints.

CALC CARB is complementary to beladonna and also matches her symptoms.
try a few doses of CALC 30C every 12 hours, some 4 to 5 doses and then stop.
