molluscum contagiosum

My daughter has been diagnosed with this. There is a lot of conflicting information about the risks and level of contagiousness.

We were wondering if there are any treatments for shortenig the life of the virus or of expongind the wart-like lesions.

Thank you.

This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.
I understand that silica (6c)is a good remedy for this condition. it is a common condition so do not worry unduly about it. It also helps to boost the immune system with perhaps echinacea

Yes - silica or Calc Sil but would tend to use a lower potency say 3x/6x

I have treated about 6 cases of children with this condition. As soon as the correct remedy is given the molluscum start to pop and clear up. I prescribe after a full case history has been taken on the totality of symptoms of the individual rather than just the Molluscum. Out of all the children I have seen there has been only the one that I appeared to be able to do nothing for.

Yes, I too have had the same experience as you Rochelle but have also had the experience of many being helped by a therapeutic approach without taking the whole case history. Giving Silica or Calc Silica is not just based on the molluscum it is based on the clinical experiences of many homeopaths before us!
