gerd and asthma

About 20 yrs ago I experienced my first asthma attach which was exercise induced. I eventually realized that my asthma was related to my digestion and discovered from test that I had gerd. The last 3 years my symptoms went from occasional to daily and included coughing up white mucus while grasping for air for about 2 hours every night after 8pm and every morning after i woke up. Needless to say I am depleted, lost 30 lbs in3 yrs so I weigh 98 lbs at 5'4'. I am a 63 year old female but look like I am 80 yrs. Sometimes I cough and grasp for air, then am relieved when I have a bowel movement.

I have seen a homeopath, osteopath, acupuncture, ayurvedic, network chiropratic, and just recently a pulmonary md who gave me singular, a weeks worth of methylprednisolone, and an inhaler(foradil). Today is day 2 of taking these drugs and I at least feel some relief and feel clear enough and determined enough to figure a natural way to heal.

I figured the Nat.Phos. 6x and arnica 30c in the wet dose would be worth a try. What do you think? The last time I went to a homeopath he gave me Nat.Phos 200c and 6c and when that didn't help he gave me CarcinosinLM 200c and 6c and that didn't work. I wonder if taking Nat. Phos. 6x instead of 200c and 6c would make a difference? I'm even wondering if I anidoted ? He was so expensive, I couldn't afford to go back.

Any feedback would be greatly appreciated!

To Biscottilu

You have stated : 'I figured the Nat.Phos. 6x and arnica 30c in the wet dose would be worth a try. What do you think?'

I presume that you have read my many posts on this and other Forums on GERD and Asthma and you have taken the correct remedies.

The Nat Phos 6c tablets will help your GERD and you may have to take up to 6 tablets after each of 2 meals to help your food to go down without creating any Acid Reflux. The Arncia 30c in the Wet dose which I presume you know how to make will help the inner lining of your Esophagus to rebuild as from your description of yourself; 'I am a 63 year old female but look like I am 80 yrs.' you may have suffered from GERD and Asthma for many years in the past so very unnecessarily. If you had used Nat Phos and Arnica you should have been cured in a few days but right now, since your condition is chronic, it may take a few weeks.

You must also drink plenty of water and not eat any fatty food. Eat small meals and do not go to bed for 2 hours after dinner.

No coffee and cola beverages. No preserved meats like sausages as they will antidote the Homeopathic remedies instantly.

Please stop all other drugs and Homeopathic remedies you may be using today and use just the 2 remedies Nat Phos and Arnica and report your response in 2 days when hopefully your present condition should take a turn for the better.

CORRECTION

'The Nat Phos 6c tablets will help your GERD '

This should read Nat Phos 6x NOT 6c.

The Nat Phos 6x tablets will help your GERD

Thank you for your response!
My main suffering is violent coughing making it hard for me to get my breath.
My other suffering is my slow digestion which when bad makes me feel full without eating and I get bloated and belch.
I feel like my physical ailments run and ruin my life. I am afraid to do or go anywhere.
When Iam at my worst, I want to die.
When did it start, I;d say since birth I have always been congested and sensitive to my surroundings including any disharmony. My current condition escalated after my daughter's husband suddenly died of leukemia just like her father who also died suddenly of leukemia when I was pregnant with her. This was two years ago.
I am worst after 8pm and in the am after I get out of bed.
Wind, fans, storms, extreme hot or cold and overeating aggravates me.
Warmth;bath, sun, hot springs, soup, tea, steam room, massages comfort me.
My suffering may have gotten worst because of age.
I'd say I am agreeable although argue when I feel strongly. I like being helpful. I have alot of creative desires yet lack the focus and discipline and get overwhelmed.
I love my family and friends.
I fear being out of control and pain and hurting others.
I crave dairy and spicy foods.
I am repulsed by overly sweet and crisco like food and fast food.
Thirst is normal as is my appetite.
I can't stand bland food.
I rarely sweat.
My bowel movements are regular, firm yet stringy with lots of fiber.
I take diphenhydramine before bedtime to sleep and sleep all night on my left side.
I am not feeling well enough to think of sex and also not in a relationship now.
My family's disease is heart trouble and high blood pressure which I have neither. I think my mom had constipation because I remember her taking a combination of charcoal and dates and some other fiber stuff. She also was depressed and had an apendix attach.
Normally I feel somewhat attractive but lately with losing so much weight and worn out by coughing, I have lost my luster;
When I was around 35 I had my uterus
removed because of excessive ,clotty flow. I did remember excessive feelings all because of my period. Before it the littlest thing bugged me and I worried that there wasn't enough food in the world to satisfy my ravenish appetite. Then when I had my period I felt bloated and didn't want to eat and was worn out by the heavy flow.

I believe that your Asthmatic wheeze is caused by the Diphenhydramine (Benadryl) that you have been using perhaps for many years. I would like to know the reason why this drug was prescribed and for how long you have been taking it and the dosage you use nightly. Also what drugs or other medication do you use on a daily basis ?

Please also clarify:

'When did it start, I;d say since birth I have always been congested and sensitive to my surroundings including any disharmony. My current condition escalated after my daughter's husband suddenly died of leukemia just like her father who also died suddenly of leukemia when I was pregnant with her. This was two years ago.'

You stated in your first post that you were 63 years old and the statement above does not tally.

I am 63 and my husband died when I was 19, pregnant with my daughter. My daughter's husband died 2 years ago and it seemed like my symptoms got worst around that time which is also why I started taking the Benadrl so I could at least get some sleep and I wasn't taking it every night, only times when I was having a hard time. I have always been congested, blowing my nose. Asthma is scarey and unpredictable. It started out happening every once in awhile maybe if I ate before excercising, but now it is daily. I was told by the Plumary M.D. that my lungs are hyperinflated suggestive of COPD.

please take 5 doses of PHOSPHORUS 200C, each dose every 12 hours.

thus, in 48 hours you should take all 5 doses.

take the doses in empty stomach and clean mouth and no food or water one hour before or after.

one dose would consist of 3 to 4 drops in some 10 ml of water.

Thank you for your help Rishimba.
I am a little confused; you recommend
5 doses of PHOSPHORUS 200c every 12 hours, and wouldn't that be 60 hours that it would take to take all 5 doses. I feel stupid asking, but what is a dose? Then I really don't understand the, 'one dose would consist of 3 - 4 drops in some 10 ml of water'. Then after the 5 doses and the one dose in water, do I just stop and take nothing else?

Dear Biscottilu

Homeo remedies are stimulation to vital force. So they needn't be taken everyday as allopathic medicines. Only 5 doses are sufficient to stimulate vital force.

1st dose NOW
2nd dose after 12 hr
3rd dose after 24 hr
4th dose after 36 hr
5th dose after 48 hr

So this should make clear how 5 doses in 48 hours.

One dose means
If the medicine is in pills form 4 pills. Don't touch pills with hand. Use cap of bottle to take pills.
If the medicine is in liquid dilution form, 3-4 drops in some 10 ml water. Sip up slowly.

i think this should clear all your doubts. If you are still not clear, please feel free to ask.

Please observe change in your symptoms for next 15 days and report back to Rishi. So you should take only 5 doses and report back after 15 days.
