Nux and Ignatia together?

My daughter's holistic pediatrician has recommended Nux and Ignatia to be used at the same time. I have read that these are incompatible.

My daughter is 14 months old with a very fiery, spirited temperament. She needs a lot of stimulation and is intelligent and learns quickly (she already vocalizes many words). She gets quite bratty when she's bored and she moves constantly. She does not sleep well at all. I try to get her on a schedule, but it proves very difficult. She is easily frustrated by anything she isn't expecting. She still wakes at night, wanting a bottle and will scream until we give her one. Sometimes she wakes twice to eat. She also wakes for other reasons at other times. She is very sensitive to sounds. She sometimes doesn't eat a lot, but other times she does. Either way, the doctor did say there's no physiological reason for her to eat at night.

I know we need to get her off the nightime bottles, but the doctor recommended taming her temperament first.

Should I try one first? In reading the symptoms, it seems like ignatia 'fits' her. I just don't want to give her both if they are antidotes or incompatible.

Any advice?

Thanks,

Shannon

This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.
Ignatia is not a remedy for a 14 month old. If she is irritable you may give her chamomilla 30c. Three doses for one day (not daily, only one day) at a gap of 4 hours and see how that affects her in the next 7 days.

Thank you.

We have tried chamomilla in the past, but it did not work at all.

I gave her the ignatia 30c yesterday. Unbelievably, she slept all night without waking. That hasn't happened in months. It's still too early to tell if it was just a fluke, but we'll see. She is napping now and went down very easily.

Should I discontinue the ignatia? I'm concerned that her pediatrician said to give it to her if it shouldn't be used for babies.

Thank you,

Shannon

Wait on and don't give any remedy for now. Ignatia seems to have worked...you should not temper with it...with children, often the single dose is sufficient.
