4 yr. old boy with Autism
My 4 yr. son was diagnosed with autism. And I think DTaP had a significant role to play in it. I know that some homeopathic practitioners follow the sequential approach. Can anyone tell me potential remedies to negate the damage caused by DTaP vaccine?babyrish on 2009-11-13

please describe the personality of the child, his likes and dislikes, thermals, response to various situations, intellect, kinds of toys he likes to play with, behaviour with mates, parents, animals and insects.
initially, remedies like thuja or sulphur are generally considered to negate the effects of vaccine based on the personality of the child.
this is generally followed up by an antimiasmatic remedy and then infrequent doses of the indicated remedy on totality of his symptoms.

Sorry for the long post but I didn't want to miss out anything. He is very very hyperactive and has very less attention and focus. He has a restless nature. Attention and communication are the most serious problems. Does not give a response and hence is not communicating although he is talking a lot. Has a fascination to remove stickers/labels. Rolls eyes from side to side (recently saw a relapse) which is an eye stim and people commonly relate it to viral problems. He has high Rubella titers. Loves cars (red is his favorite color) and other vehicles. He loves toys of the same kind. Will always want to stay beside people and is very social. He is very out-going and always seeks people. He loves showers. Seems emotionally sensitive. Has a shivering self stim which had reduced with Cina. In class it often appears that he is not attentive (may not be looking while the teacher is teaching) but when quizzed he knows the answer and is pretty intelligent. Teacher says he bosses around the kids and takes their toys away. Is emotionally sensitive. He has fear of the dark and doesnt like to play alone. Does not dread being corrected in fact enjoys the repetitive action. His pronunciation is not clear. He is a sound sleeper but probably sleeps less than kids of his age. Mostly he sleeps on his side. He likes to intentionally disobey and not comply with directions to attract attention. Likes to lean on people and is wiggly. Rotates perpendicular (on the left side) while sleeping. Does not like coloring activities and is delayed in fine motor.
He had shown some improvement with Zincum Metallicum 200 but those things have come back like wiggly body movement, lesser focus, OCD. A homeopathic doctor has suggested that we should try Zincum Metallicum 1M again. He had also shown slight improvement with Opium 30 (talking more relevant to the context and doing more communication instead of just talking). However, the improvement was very short-lived 5 to 7 days.
He had shown some improvement with Zincum Metallicum 200 but those things have come back like wiggly body movement, lesser focus, OCD. A homeopathic doctor has suggested that we should try Zincum Metallicum 1M again. He had also shown slight improvement with Opium 30 (talking more relevant to the context and doing more communication instead of just talking). - is he a warm or a cold person.
- what are the ailments in the physical level has he suffered since birth.
- can you give some peculiar mental symptoms of your son which you find strange and different from others.
- does he like new toys always or plays with the old ones.
- what kind of diseases did his family have, including his great grand parents and grand parents on both sides.
- is there any case of hard core alcoholism, murder or suicide in his previous generations.
- how was the pregnancy and his birth? was it happy and uneventful? was the delivery normal? did his mother go through any mental or physical trauma during or before his birth?
- did all the mental symptoms surface only after the vaccination?
- is he a warm or a cold person.

If you are asking whether he is affectionate or not, he is very affectionate. but if you mean weather, he likes cold weather more than warm weather.
- what are the ailments in the physical level has he suffered since birth.
He used to have eczema when he was a baby. Between one and two years age he got many ear infections and took Septra for months. But nothing other than that.
- can you give some peculiar mental symptoms of your son which you find strange and different from others.
He adapts very easily to new care-givers. He does not miss people who have been with him for a long time a lot. He can go and start living with strangers. It does not mean that he does not realize that they are strangers.
- does he like new toys always or plays with the old ones.
He does like new toys. Although he likes cars or other boyish toys more than dolls etc.
- what kind of diseases did his family have, including his great grand parents and grand parents on both sides.
Father's side - history of diabetes, Mother's side - high bllod pressure and coronary diseases.
- is there any case of hard core alcoholism, murder or suicide in his previous generations.
There is some case of alchohlism but it is pretty far off relations and that case was because the mother of the child died at a very early age.
- how was the pregnancy and his birth? was it happy and uneventful? was the delivery normal? did his mother go through any mental or physical trauma during or before his birth?
Pregnancy was healthy. Labor was long. He was delivered through C-section since he didn't come out after being in a transverse position - but there were no complications
- did all the mental symptoms surface only after the vaccination?
May be. He got his MMR at 13 months age. After that he seemed to be hyperactive and had much more wiggly body language. It was very difficult to get his attention after that. After his 2 months DTAP also his legs were very sore - far more than normal.
