basic first aid kit

I will be travelling with my sons (both of whom, along with myself, have received and responded well to homeopathic remedies in the past) to visit my family for a few weeks later this month. I would like to put together a basic "first aid kit" of homeopathic remedies to have handy during our travels (for colds and congestion, bumps and bruises, stress, etc.). Any suggestions on what remedies to pack? Thank you.

This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.
A basic remedy list for home and travel:

ACONITE*: is not the most important one, but shows fears when ill and has a sudden onset. eye trauma.

APIS M: is probably most important for insect stings and unknown swelling in the body from allergies. If in a plane or mountian, may complain of earache. 1 dose.

ARNICA: for trauma/accidents.

ARSENICUM ALB: Cough, fever, asthma.

BELLADONNA: Fever, ear/throat.

CARBO VEG: fever/diarreah/wants to be fanned.

CHAMOMILLA: irritable, nothing sooths the child. teething.

DULCAMARA: Colds that are difficult and messy.

GELSEMIUM: flu that wants to wrap up in covers and sleep. body pain.

HEPAR SULPH*: not totally necessary, but croup, green mucus, coldness.

HYPERICUM: for Tetanus.

KALI BICH: Colds and hack cough with tough mucus.

LYCOPODIUM: stomach/gas/eyes/ears.

PHYTOLACCA: red sore throat, pain at root of tongue. glands swollen. nose, teething,

PULSATILLA: regulates menses. mucus yellowish-green. peevish, fever. weeps easily.

RHUS TOX: (plant) HIVES..cold after getting wet. sun stroke.

SPONGIA: Croup...deep barking cough.

VERT ALBUM*: vomiting, shock, state of collapse. coldness. Bronchial.

200X would be OK in a home kit. Hope this helps. Sabra sabragibsonhomeopathy.com

Sabra, thanks for your reply. RE: potency--how about 6C or even 30C? Cassy

Over the years I have found that it is difficult to choose potencies. I have found that the care giver can make a simple statement when giving a remedy: "THIS REMEDY WILL MATCH THE NEEDS OF ( ) WHOLE BODY TO HEAL COMPLETELY, NOW."

If the illness or injury is lengthy, put a few pellets into a bottle of drinking water, shake and sip all day. If improvement does not show in 2 to 3 hours, one needs to study again. The remedies suggested have FAR more uses than my little notes. Get a Materia Medica at a used book store. Not Kents, it is too detailed to the beginner. Keep it simple.

Over 40 years I have found that whatever remedy is on hand generally works, probably because of this feeling of expecting it to work. Sabra sabragibsonhomeopathy.com
