Increasing Musle Tone after 40

Hi,

I am 40 years, Female, and have always liked to eat healthy and exercise to keep my energy up as I have 3 kids to keep up with. The kids I had at 32y/34y/ and 36 yrs. All normal delivery and normal weight. No problems what so ever.

After 40 I feel somehow not so motivated to workout as much as before. And all the aging symptoms like tired looking skin and eyes, wrinkled skin, sagging muscles, low muscle tone, and low energy have escalated this year. If I exercise for 1-2 day then I don't feel like exercising for another week or so.

My menstrual cycle keeps shifting by about 4/5 days, and sometimes 10. Menstrual flow is sparse, and gets over in the first 3 days.

My left knee gives me a little bit of a problem, like burning, sharp shooting pains etc when I sit down and try to get up. I know I need to strengthen my quadriceps as they help in lifting legs.

8 years ago I used to work as a software engineer, ad now I have chosen to be at home with kids and it is hard sometimes to keep myself together as I get tired easily. My sleep is light and disturbed because of kids who still sleep with me.
I lose my cool once in a while and get into a screaming rage at my kids. It really bothers me a lot later as I am very loving as well. I am really bored with the routine of cooking and cleaning sometimes I get lethargic with depression. I am quite an optimistic person who loves to learn and hence these things do not last long.

The kids school will start soon and hence I hope I can take care of myself better.

I need more energy, and would like to be more strong. I want to strengthen my bones. I do take calcium citrate with vit D3 which helps with Menstrual cramps.

PLease suggest some remedies to improve my vitality, muscle tone and zest for life.

Hi

Forgot to mention:

I am 5' 1', 126 lbs wt, with a lot of gray hair. I am slim, except for my tummy area which is still slack and weak.

I often get constipation for which I need a homeopathy remedy.

Also are there any remedies to keep my joints healthy?
