Aquagenic pruritus

Hi,
I am 30 years old and am suffering from aquagenic pruritus from past 4 years wihout any relief from changing soaps and lotions. This started after a very violdent attack of Falsiperum Malaria 4 years back and ever since I am having this symptom. It is horrible after touch with water. Hot water bath comforts the skin while cold water bath aggravates this condition. I have very dry skin, very anxious, emotional and prone to depression.

I would look forward to a homeopathic remedy as I am not comfortable with allopathy at all.

Thanks and Regards,
Homeoheal

This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.
Please take 4 tablets of Natrum Sulph 6x thrice a day at a gap of 4 hours for 10 days and report back.

Please follow homeo restrictions like no coffee, no raw onion/garlic, no strong perfumes, don't eat or drink anything within 30 minutes before or after taking medicine.

Anyone with Aquagenic pruritus is invited to join our Yahoogroup. I can't give you the email address here, so you'll need to search yahoogroups for 'aquagenicskin'. There are about 850 on the list, and some of us use homeopathic approaches.

If hot water is soothing, also try using a hair dryer or heating pad on the itchy parts, or read instructions and cautions and then try topical capsaicin. Showering at night seems to be better than showering in the morning, and 100% cotton clothing and bedding helps many of us.

Really, you're welcome to join our list. You'll find a community of people who understand.

** potential cure** hello i have tryed virtually everything to cure/deal with the prickly, stinging itching of aqagenic pruritus for the pass 10 years and have finally found a potential cure. in my diet i decreased my sugar intake by 90% and i increased my daily salt intake by approximately 3x. after 1 week i noticed a extreme change and now 4 weeks later i forget that i ever had aquagenic pruritus and can now go sweat and shower whenever i feel like it with no discomfort. 'good riddens aquagenic prurritus'. of course check with your doctor before increasing your salt and decreasing your sugar levels,
